Seneca Falls, New York, United States
This 1972 MG Midget was built in England at Morris garage, Abingelon, Factory. In August 2002 the car was restored by the MG Car Club in Worthington, D. C. The previous owner invested over $10,000 of repairs to get it on the road safe and nice looking. Here are some key points of disclosure: Engine checked and has excellent compression for all 4 cylinders. It was cleaned, painted and all new seals put on. Also the transmission was pulled and a new clutch put in. The engine bay was cleaned, sanded and painted. The Engine bay was highly detailed and cleaned with new SU Carbs and K &N Air cleaners and was professionally tuned. The following are some of the new items in the professional mechanical overhaul: New SU carbs, Pro K & N air filter set, 3 point seat belts, shocks front and back, springs rear, suspension and sway bar bushings throughout, cloth convertible top, spoke wheels, knock offs, tires, brakes, clutch, battery, wiper motor, engine mounts, rear lens, proper seat covers and carpet, MG rubber floor mats. All of the gauges are working, all of the lights are working, heater and fan motor are working fine. There is a Kenwood AM/FM Cassette player that is working also. The chrome is all there and decent. In Aug, 2010 the transmission was rebuilt In 2011 a chrome luggage rack, Lucas driving lights, special switch and a special sport muffler(4 exhaust pipes) were installed In January 2012, body work was done and the car was painted gray. I am selling this Item for a good friend of mine. Looking over the vehicle I have found some rust just behind the front fenders that has some minimal rot and is shown in the photos.
