You are bidding on a extremely nice no rust chrome bumper MGB. The car was restored by the previous owner who restores one car at a time as a hobby, since it is a hobby he enjoys taking much time in doing things you don't normally expect, like hand polishing all interior door pulls, door handles, window cranks, reverse light surrounds and wind shield posts. He also fabricated a LeMans type gas filler cap, added driving lights, wire mesh headlight covers, period fender mirrors, a Moto Lito steering wheel and luggage rack! Cosmetically the car was re-painted the original color, the paint does have some fish eyes, but the overall appearance is beautiful, it gets positive comments where ever I go. All rubber seals are new. The interior is all new as well, there is a little spider web like crack on the dash, but it would not show up in a photo, the black top is brand new and has only been up once since I have owned the car. Mechanically the car is superb, with good oil pressure - 75 psi at speed. It comes with headers and a partial stainless steel exhaust, the entire exhaust system is new. Many braided lines were installed on the motor and oil cooler. The rear springs are new and the front end was rebuilt. The transmission is perfect, this has to be one of the best driving MGBs available, a true joy to drive! Tires are also new, the wheels were restored and are as new. It also comes with a full tonneau cover, top boot and tools with jack. Here is what the car needs, the handbrake cable is broken, a new one goes with the car (see the photo). The one time I had the top up I got caught in a rain storm and one of the wipers flew off, I have bought two different types of wiper arms, but neither of them match the other two on the car, they are included in the sale (again see the photo) I would want the to match, that's why I didn't install one.The gas gauge quit working about a month ago, all other gauges, lights and horn work. In conclusion, this is an outstanding MGB at a low reserve price, it will bring miles of motoring pleasure with great appreciation potential. Good luck and thanks for looking.
