1966 MGB Roadster

The car has not been in the rain since restoration, always garaged under a car cover specific to make and model.

The car was bought new in Huntsville, AL at Stockman Motors. I purchased the car from a man in Alabama.

Sold the car to Raymond Colles in 2012,

The MOTOR
The first thing I did was remove the motor and completely rebuilt it. I replaced the pistons, ring, main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, and timing chain components. Which includes the tensioner gears. Replaced fuel pump, rebuilt carburetors. Reworked the cylinder head -replaced engine mounts all hoses and belts and cables. I replaced the starter-replaced chrome air filters.

The TRANSMISSION
Replaced the transmission mounts.

The FRAME.
I replaced wheel bearings and seals. Replaced brake pads, rotors, and hoses. Replaced all 4 shocks and bushings. Replaced 4 wheels and tires. Replaced the clutch assembly, master cylinder, and slave cylinder. I installed a new battery. Replaced front bumper assembly and rear bumper assembly. Replaced front park light assemblies [left and right], Replaced the muffler. Replaced inside door panels-door handles and window handles. I replaced the front grill assembly. Replaced vent glass rubber and hardware [on both sides]. Replaced the windshield and mounting rubber. Replaced sun visors and rear view mirror. Replaced fender mirrors. Installed carpet assembly.

I had the car painted at Chism's Body Shop in Columbus, MS.
