Despite initial appearances in the photos, this is a really nice example. I've owned it since 1991. It has been garaged all that time. The last time it was run regularly was in 1983, hence the low miles. A lot of work was done to it in the '90s, and it ran well. I have all the parts that were removed. The car was never very rusty, the floors are untouched and solid, but there was the beginning of rust at the front and rear of the rocker panels and in the lower part of the fenders so, as I intended it to be a keeper, the entire rocker panels, including inner sections, were professionally replaced and I have brand new (in the 90's, but never installed) fenders. It has a very expensive primer on it that's kept it in really good shape over the years in the garage. Everything is here to put it back together again, although you'll need new seat leather and I'm assuming carpeting (I have the old carpeting). The dash only has a small area with a crack on it and it's low down, and I do have another 1969 dash that's in very good shape. The grill and bumpers are in good shape and the chrome is still good. An old Victorian house and the arrival of a daughter stopped work. I started her up every now and then, the motor was never stuck. I recently drained the fuel tank and put in fresh gas and a new battery, and it starts up but runs rough. I cleaned the carbs and played with them, but I was always crap at working on carbs. The engine itself sounds good and doesn't smoke. I was able to drive it in and out of the garage. I had replaced the brake master cylinder back in the day and the brakes still work, but the car would obviously need to be flatbedded away. It has four original chrome wire wheels (off the car) and the desirable overdrive....it'll be a really nice example. I need the space so reluctantly I have to accept it's got to go. The reserve is not high, and a lot less than has been put into the car. I'm in Mt. Airy in Philadelphia and would be happy to show it to you.
