Special options include special steering wheel and standard overdrive transmission. Each car was fitted with its own special engraved dashboard plague. All badging on the front nose and rear deck were gold & silver vs. the regular silver & black finish.

Production was limited to approximately 751 models and made for the market in England only.

The production was limited to 750, but one additional car was manufactured to replace a car destroyed in the production of a television commercial.

50th Anniversary Badging – LHD North American Exports

In addition to the MGB GT limited production Jubilee editions, Abingdon also produced special emblems

to celebrate the 50th Anniversary in 1975. The special emblems were only applied to Left Hand Drive

North American Export models.

Runs and drives great. No leaks, smoking, knocking, or other issues. No overheating. Runs cool. Really fun to drive, and very economical to operate. The carb and manifold have been upgraded to a Weber 2 barrel, which improved the drive-ability and also the performance.

This MGB is equipped with the rare Laycock overdrive system, and it works flawlessly.

It would be a good car to restore, or just enjoy it the way it is. The lower rocker panels need repaired, which is typical for this year and model. The floors, doors, trunk, inner fenders etc. are all very solid. The rocker panels below the doors need replaced.

It has a cool roll bar installed with a nice stitched on cover. All the glass is good. Dash has some cracking. All the gauges work including fuel, temp, and oil pressure. Interior needs work.
