Mg Mgb 1979 on 2040-cars
Maplewood, New Jersey, United States
“Overall, a great MGB that is very original. It has been pampered and maintained.” This is a great car!
Great shape and runs great. Low
mileage for a 35 year old vehicle. The
previous owner restored this car, including a new paint job. I spent over $3,000 pampering and maintaining
this baby. She is Carmine red with a
tan interior. This is a classic car with
charm and personality. It is not a
Miata. And yes, plenty of heads turn
when you drive by. Interior: ·

which has been fixed. ·
The dash has two small/minor cracks. Rheostat knob stuck, but car comes with a new one that can be installed. · Carb needs adjustment every once in a while. Plates
and Insurance: At least in New Jersey, this car qualifies as an antique
if you register it as one. If you do so,
you can get the “QQ” antique plates and inspections become unnecessary. Insurance on classic cars are generally very
affordable. As an example, I have
antique car insurance on this car and only pay $100 per year!!! Extras: ·
Three excellent reference books: o
“Original MBG” by Clausager (new), o
Haynes repair manual (new), and o
MG/MGB repair manual (original). ·
