79 Mgb-runs And Drives Good. Removeable Hard Top With A/c Option. on 2040-cars

1979 Mgb Convertible Roadster in (Wetumpka Al) to many new and extra parts to list. Including rear deck lid with Chrome rack, interior trim, repair manuals, spare motor and trans.

Exterior Color: Burgundy
Interior Color: Black

Manual trans 4 speed. 4 cylinders with Weber Carburetor and exhaust headers.  Will  need exhaust system soon-would be a good time to upgrade it. I also have an original cast iron exhaust manifold if you want.
Was painted a few of years ago. Some of the pictures are with it under construction.

It has all new carpet, door panels, weather stripping, and seats have been redone. Original  dash pad has some minor cracking.

All lights, wipers, turn signals work including the basic radio.

I have the frame for convertible top-it will need recovered. I also have a tauna cover. You will either have to modify the tauna cover to accommodate the roll bar or remove the roll bar. If you want to install the convertible top you will need to remove the hard top (2 bolts and 2 latch’s)

It has factory a/c will need a temp control switch and some duct work replaced. The fan motor needs replaced. We jumped Compressor and it did come on-so it’s holding Freon. I am a fair weather driver and a/c not working as it should does not bother me but I want to disclose what I know about it.

Tires have less than 500 miles on them and the upgraded rims are knock off type-I have the spanner wrench for it. New Brakes and rubber lines, front end bushings, tie rod ends, clutch slave cylinder and New Gas tank with sending unit. Gas gauge not always showing correct.
-Bottom and top of floor has been undercoated.  Fun to drive-street legal and vintage tag stays with car. I also have clear Title in my name. I am selling due to health issues-that is making it hard for me to drive a straight shift.
