1979 Mgb V8 on 2040-cars

 am listing this for a friend.
This is a 1979 MGB that was converted to V8 power approximately 2 years ago.
This car came from a southern state, so it was almost rust free to begin with.
In 2011 the owner had the body shell resprayed in damask red. At that time what little rust (which was in the dog legs) there was, was cut out, patch panels welded in and repaired properly. The front and rear suspensions were rebuilt with new polyurethane pads & bushings. New interior was installed with custom vinyl seat covers and interior panels and carpet.
When I did the V8 conversion, I installed a rebuilt Buick 215 with ceramic coated block hugger headers, Edelbrock 500 CFM 4bbl carb (electric choke) with a low rider air filter. Uprated oil pump (HVLP) with remote oil filter, which is tucked away under the front LH fender for easy access. Engine was professionally rebuilt by a local machine shop. Aluminum radiator with Spal 16" cooling fan.
Lightweight billet flywheel, custom clutch assembly, HYTOB with stainless hoses and a custom driveshaft.
The owner installed custom dual exhaust.

A Camaro Dana 44 rear axle was modified and rebuilt by Moser Industries to fit into the MGB. This has a 3.23:1 ratio with posi.
The wheels are original Minilite 14" wheels (yes genuine Minilite...not a copy) with new 14" tires.
Since the conversion was completed the owner only put 471 miles on the car.....essentially it is in like new condition.
This MGB V8 will put a smile on your face, every time you fire her up!
