Up for auction is a 1979 MG MGB. This car is in running order, however it still needs a few odds and ends to be completely finished. I bought this car with the intention of finishing it, however I have since acquired a Triumph TR4 that I am redoing instead. I would love to keep this car, but I am out of room for projects! This is a great running that had a lot of work done to it by the previous owner including:

Fresh rebuild of the 1.8 L engine as well as new fuel and ignition systems
New interior carpets
New wiring harness throughout the car
New wheel bearings
New clutch
New paint including a custom painted British Flag pattern on the hood

The car still needs seat mounts, seat belts, a radio, antenna, and a few little odds and ends to be completed. The car comes with most of these parts as well as other parts. Everything is shown in the pictures. The car starts right up and runs flawlessly. The oil pressure stays right around 50 psi. The car shifts through all 4 gears and reverse flawlessly. The paint has a few blotches near the left headlight and on both doors that are noticeable. The soft top seals nicely, but has a small tear near the driver side door.
