1979 Mg Mgb Mk Iv Convertible 2-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
Bush, Louisiana, United States
Up for auction is a 1979 MGB Convertible that has been through a restoration. It appears to have started life in the common British Racing Blue color, but during restoration it was painted the very pleasing maroon color that you see here. The white leather seats offset against the maroon carpet and black dash make this MGB a real beauty. The Negatives: This MGB does not have a hard top nor is it equipped with the optional Overdrive. The clock has stopped working, it did not come with a jack and there is a little white paint on the the rear bumper. The Positives: Odometer 1085 Manual transmission – 4 speed 1085 miles since restoration No rust, no wreck. Dual competition SU carburetors Stainless steel exhaust, headers, muffler, etc. Auxiliary cooling fans ‘Spin-on’ oil filter system Mini-Lite mag alloy wheels with new performance tires New white top and boot White Connolly Leather with superior pleating (in E-Type
Jaguar style): Connolly Leather was a British company supplying highly finished
bespoke leather. Wilton Wool Carpets (in Rolls Royce style). The finished result creates a floor that
provides supreme underfoot luxury with high performance. I reserve the right to end this list early as the car is for sale locally. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD
AS IS, WHERE IS WITH NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED WRITTEN OR IMPLIED. $ 500.00 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days via Wire Transfer or Cash in hand upon pickup. Buyer is responsible for shipping. |
