1979 MGB . She has about 70,500 probably original miles. I personally rebuilt the engine from top to bottom. Engine block and crankshaft was professionally machined by a local (Tyler) shop oversized to .040. She starts and runs like a champ. All gages and mechanicals are in pretty good shape. The hydraulic clutch master is getting a bit tired, so the pedal is a bit mushy but shifts fine. The brakes are a little mushy as well, but no leaks. I've had the brakes bled, but I think they need more attention. She does not leak a drop of oil. The interior is in great shape with a new carpet kit installed. The soft top has a little hole on the top and the plastic window is not very clear anymore. However, I also have a rare hardtop that goes with her as well. Who needs a top anyway? The clear coat has failed on a lot of the paint, but still looks decent. She could use a paint job. There really is no rust on the car. I have another MGB that needs work and I need to make room. This would be a really nice car to continue restoration, but is super fun to drive as is!
