This auction is for a 1978 MGB convertible. This car is in good running condition. It has been stored in a garage for the last 10 years, since we bought it. The speedometer reads 79,879 but I cannot insure that this is the original miles, although the condition of the car would be consistent with this amount. This car has been repainted at some point, had the interior changed to a black upholstery and black carpet. The motor had a weber carb kit with manifold and a header installed when we bought it and a new weber carb was installed last year, the original one started having problems. This car has a luggage rack, tonneau cover, spare tire and cd radio. The convertible top is in good condition, but the rear plastic window is faded and scratched. The wheels have had new trim rings, the tires are in very good condition. We bought the car in 2004, had the electrical gone through to sort out a typical problem and since then it has run well, other than last year when the carb acted up. It has only been driven about 500 miles a year since we have owned it and it needs to find a new home with someone that will drive it more.

I try to describe as best I can and tried to take pictures that will show condition. This car is used, so as with all vehicles of this age, will have minor scratches and dings. The mechanical is functional at this time. Please look at pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. This car is being sold as-is with no warranty.
