Mechanicals: This car runs beautifully. The engine starts right up every time. I've had regular maintenance done annually, replaced many of the usual parts like fuel pump, distributor cap, battery, etc... I had a new clutch installed and all seals replaced in May 2013 - $2000 worth of work - shifting is very smooth and tight, and with the new seals this MGB basically does not leak. Tires are like new, and just put new beauty rings on. The top is in excellent shape with no tears or holes, rear window is clean with no clouding or tears. The retractable top frame does have a slightly bent hinge but it does not effect putting the top up.
Electrical's: Electrical components are solid. All gauges work, as well as all lights, signals, plate and trunk lights. Radio works as well. Have never had any electrical issues.
Interior: The interior is very clean and in very good shape, no cracks in seats - or dashboard! Carpet is in good shape, window glass and mirrors are all excellent - no cracks, chips or clouding. Shift knob is wood with MG plate on top, steering wheel is a signed Nardi wheel made of brushed stainless and varnished wood - really nice! Trunk is clean with all tools and a spare tire.
Exterior: The paint is in excellent shape with only a few very minor imperfections. Headlights have wire protection cages, chrome luggage rack on the back. Bumpers are nice black with no fading. I will also include a very nice MG car cover as part of the sale.
Personal notes: I've owned this car for 7 years, kept it garaged and driven it with care. All work has been performed by a professional British Car mechanic, and he has assured me the car is mechanically in excellent shape; major issues with these cars tend to be clutch and suspension and this car is in excellent condition on both counts - (brand new clutch of course). I only drive it in good weather, and average about 300 miles of driving per year. The odometer reads 7100, but I really don't know what the actual milage is. This is truly a very solid, clean and good running vehicle that you can drive away today.
