I've owned this MGB for over 25+ years. But for the last 4 years it has been sitting in my driveway.

I am down to my last 2 MGB's. Every few years I would get the MGB bug and send it off to Motorhead (my local VA repair shop) to have it checked over and whatever it needed, fixed. I'd spend the big money and then I'd drive it for a month or two, park it and never seem to get back to it.

Now, I'm into Jeeps and Lincolns and Mercedes SLs and trucks and Fieros and am up to 16 cars. It is time to let some of my toys go to a caring home!

This car had a rebuilt '78 engine installed after I got it and I'll bet I haven't put 5000 mile on it in 20 years. The engine has a competition cam and will easily accelerate to and easily drive at Interstate speeds. It's loud (Ansa exhaust) and fun. The overdrive works in both 3rd and 4th. The wire wheels have surface rust. The tires have excellent tread, but have been sitting for some time in one spot. There is the usual dogleg rust as seen in the pics. My daughter dented the same quarter panel 20+ years ago! The interior needs attention and the carpet at least needs cleaning...

The hardtop is included as is the sunroof I had installed in it. I do have the soft top; the frame is fine, but the fabric itself needs replacement. It comes with both full and partial tonneau covers.

With a little effort (battery, fresh fuel and some tinkering) this could be driven, and with someone who wants to take the time and money to make it right
, it would be a blast! This is not for a novice. This is an easy project where the results will be worth the effort.

Since it hasn't been driven in some time, you will need to tow it home.
