1977 Mgb Roadster Overdrive Tourer on 2040-cars

Data plate says manufactured 9/77  

This is an overdrive equipped TOURER Model

This MG has body damage in the right fr fender, right rear fender, and deck lid area,  but  appears to have been well cared for before the accident.  There is a US Army Sargent Major decal on the windshield, that may explain the otherwise good condition.

Repaint was some years ago, and I haven't seen any evidence of Bondo.

I did not see any rust holes under the car...

We bought the car without keys.  The steering lock has been removed( It will need a new ignition switch ),  and the deck lid had already been cut to open.  Spare tire and jack kit in trunk

Runs excellent, with no unusual smoke or noise.

The windshield is good, I see no wiper marks, and the top is in nice condition with pretty clear rear window

Sure , there is body work to be done, etc,  but this is NOT a rust bucket, 

so the effort is not so frustrating

 Alabama does not title cars this age,

and every State knows the correct paperwork includes Notarized Bill of Sale
