I'm selling My MGB to make room for another car. I've had a lot of work and improvements done since I bought this car. This car was featured in the June 2012 issue of the MG magazine Octagon. After buying the car I spent over $5,000 in repairs and improvements to get it were it is now. I have the receipts from the work done by local MG expert Ron Shimek in Austin, Texas and Carters brake shop. This MGB has a Ford V6 2.8liter engine and ford C4 transmission. The engine features a Holly 390 carb and aluminum dual plane Offenhauser intake manifold. The list of improvements include a new 190' thermostat,, interstate battery,, VDO tach and speedometer with sender unit, 15inch high out put electric fan with 200' on, 190 off temp. sensor, hush thrush mufflers and exhaust pipes, hood gas struts, head light wire harness and relays, all new brakes,$802. steering and suspension rubber bushings replaced, and more by Ron Shimek $4,900. I have some MGB ads and a window sticker. Tire jack and tool in original bag, Entire under side under coated and rust proofed. I'm sure that I have missed something here. This car placed 3rd in its class at the Austin All British car show this year. 2 tonneau, . 1 covers the folded top and the 2nd covers the entire cockpit area with cover support bars. many receipts for work done on the conversion and up grades to the new engine and transmission. Paint and body work $4,900, engine conversion $5,995.Custom made aluminum radiator$520.00 Speedometer and tach replaced $632.74, engine up grades $1,874.30, Block and Isky Cam $1,295.00 Holley 390 Carb $383,00 remove and replace carbs $$75.00. New/used OEM seats $250.00 and many more receipts but you get the picture there has been a lot of work and money put into this car to make it a very special MGB with a more powerful and reliable performing car. no expense was spared and now its time to move on to the next project car. This car was purchased by a family who lived in Mo. and have a summer house in florida. I purchased this car for $10,000 and I'm trying to get back some of what I have put into restoring and making it safe to drive. all offers considered. no out of country scam artists. will help with shipping or inspections. no trades .
