1977 Mgb Convertible With A Ton Of Extras on 2040-cars
Year:1977
Mileage:106000
Location:
North Haven, Connecticut, United States
OK this is my 1977 MGB Production date is 8/76 but the tittle states 1977 I have owned it for approximately 5 years I have put about 1000 miles on it each year I owned it, and it has never see any rain in that time in fact I do not even have the top on the car -- But you are not just getting my car but a tons of extras
First the car I will tell you everything I know about it -- This car if you know MGB's ALL it electronics WORK!!! it has the typical rocker panel dogleg and a very little floorboard rust it also does have the paint bubbling under the passenger's front fender see photo I am guessing it was a bad Bondo job. It also has a couple of crack on the dash board from the sun like almost all of them have. This car has never failed to start for me another amazing thing for a "B". I have replaced the distributor with and electronic one but the original one goes with the car -- I also completely replaced the interior about 4 years ago. I did not want to cut the new door panels so I put some Bose speakers under the dashboard see photo sounds great. I replace the seat belts. I also have a brand new radiator (I purchased it 4 years ago) waiting for the one in it to fail but it has not happened yet. When I purchased the car there was a little noise coming from the head I think it is a valve adjustment but it not loud and I never got around to taking the dome cover off to adjust it. Note like all cars of this period the odometer only went to 99,999 miles so I have no way of know if the reading is correct or not I am assuming that it went around once so that is why I posted 106k the actual reading is 5,943 -- Please ask any question you have I could write forever and my not touch on your question -- On to the Tons of extras -- you will need a truck for everything this car comes with -- I have headlight, taillights, roof frames (x2), chrome bumpers, tonneau cover (2 I think), windshield, bonnet and trunk lid, a rim or two with tires, boxes of assorted other items, a hardtop needs some work and a engine and transmission. now on the engine and transmission it was well cleaned up before I received it and I have no idea if it was rebuilt or not -- I am sure there are other items that I can not think of right now.... So If you wanted to resell the parts I am sure you getting the car for a real bargain.... Again please send any questions you may have and this is an "AS IS" sale -- you must pick up the car from me in Connecticut I am only sell this as a package deal so do not ask me to break it up. |
