Up for sale is a 1977 MGB Roadster/ Convertible. This is another one of my project cars, that I am getting rid of, I am sad to see it go however I have to many projects to finish and need the space. The vehicle will need paint, and bodywork. Bodywork that is needed will be rust repairs, this vehicle is not a rust bucket, it has rust but nothing that is major. It will need a some repairs on the cowl area, which isn't rusted through (surface rust, check pictures), repairs on the hood, which will be better to get a used one or a new one. I changed the trunk lid on the car because the one on it was badly rusted on the ends, put a used one which is in good shape, and I left the trunk rack inside the car in case any one wants to put it back.

This vehicle does run, the engine is not seized and it will run if the proper mechanical work is done to it. Proper mechanical working meaning, it will need a clutch, brakes, and a gas tank, the old one is rusted through, which I removed. I removed the brakes because it was hard to roll the car or move it since they were kind of hard since the brakes were locking them up. If you add gas to the carburetor, put a battery and turn the key, the vehicle will start without a problem and idle. I am not certain on the vehicle mileage, Florida exempts all cars that are more then a certain number of years old.

An MG hardtop is included in the sale. The interior seems okay, I have the rugs which I removed, to see if it has any rust in the floorboards, it appears to have surface rust, nothing bad at all or major. The rugs appear to be new so they could be reused, and they are included in the sale. It will need a new a convertible top, I cut the old one of the checked the frame and the old convertible top was in bad shape, which the frame is in good shape, very important.

This would make a wonderful nice fun car for someone that has the time to work on it, all the parts on this car are available and aren't hard to obtain at all, and they aren't expensive either, or this could be a parts car, however I hate to see that happen. This would make a fun daily driver, I'm going to miss the car. The car is located inside a warehouse, we will be responsible for moving it out of there and having it ready for you to pick-up.

-Vehicle has new set of tires and powder coated wire wheel rims, they are not included in the auction, other set will be put on and included, unless separate offer can be made for the ones on it.

There are no warranties on this car whatsoever, it is sold as is, no refunds or exchanges, it is an older vehicle therefore anything can happen, I have described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge, it would make a very nice car, with very minor repairs. I have excellent feedback and don't mean to lie to anyone, have to many projects, and getting rid of them. I am the titled owner of the car, I have a clean title to it, the car doesn't not appear to have been in an accident or have any frame damage. I don't have much history on the car, I've had it for a few years.

Car is for local pick up only, unless winning bidder makes and pay's for all arrangement's for shipment, transport and loading of car as we have no way in assisting loading of car, but can gladly meet anyone for such arrangements. Full payment is due in the form of Cash upon pickup as long as it is done within 7 days of Auction End or by Certified Bank Funds, PayPal, Cashiers Check, Personal Check Mailed to and received within a reasonable amount of time after auction has Ended and then we will gladly hold the car for winning bidder to pick up for at least for 30 Days after Auction Ended, we can hold the longer if needed. A Non refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to show good faith on behalf of the buyer and pay for listing expenses if buyer does not fall through with the transaction.
