 You are bidding on an incredibly nice 1974 MGB Convertible.  This is an early model year and therefore is the last 1/2 year with the METAL BUMPERS, making this a rare find.

This car is in tremendous overall condition with numerous upgrades and service records.  First and foremost, this car has absolutely NO RUST anywhere, and it starts right up, you can buy this car and just get in and drive!

I have performed a number of recent upgrades including:

• NEW CANVAS TOP - This is the canvas not vinyl top, it was over $1,000 to purchase and install and is NEW
• NEW Carpet Interior - I have just recently replaced the full carpeting in the vehicle with the premium carpet inclusive of sound dampening
  
• Serviced Seats - The seats tend to stick, I pulled the seats to replace the carpet and had them completely overhauled so the glide like new
• NEW Engine Bay Insulation - I replaced the fiberglass insulation with NEW Sound Dampening Fire Resistant MG Custom Insulation (See Pic)
• NEW Custom MG Chrome Door Sills
• NEW Shifter Boot & Knob
• NEW LUCAS Fog Lights - These are fully functional and are controlled separate from the headlamps and turn off automatically with ignition.

This MGB runs and drives 100%, The Tires are in great condition and have tons of miles left on them, the brakes are also in great condition.  You can really just get in and drive this car away...  It has always been climate control garage stored, with NO RUST.  This vehicle was re-painted over 8 years ago and besides normal wear, cleans up like new.  This MGB also has the functioning smog unit and original engine and engine components.

While there is a lot of good about this car, with any vehicle this age, there are always minor things that need tended to.  This is what I see as the fun part, you have the opportunity to continue to improve this vehicle if you choose - again, this car is 100% and can be driven anywhere tomorrow, however you may want to perform the following:

• Install new fuel gauge - I have a new fuel gauge that will be included in your purchase, but the current gauge does need replacement
• Install the correct fog light switch - I will also include a NEW switch with purchase.  The current switch is not correct to the original vehicle
• Install the correct bumper license plate light bulbs - Included with purchase, the new bulbs are correct to the original vehicle - the current license plate bulbs do function but are not correct to the vehicle
• Repair the center console interior light - this light does not light up when the doors open - you may need to re-wire, or replace a fuse, I have not had the time to repair this light
• Repair the interior fan - I am not sure if this is a simple fuse issue, or a switch issue, or a wiring issue, again this is one of those projects that I have not had an opportunity to tackle
• Repair the wiper function - This is the final project that I was not able to research yet, I believe this is a motor problem which is an easy fix, if it is wiring related, it would also be a simple fix.  You can easily get the new motor and wire it to a separate switch or the console.

Again - these are all minor needs for this vehicle and simple fixes if you even choose to take any action - I am including the fuel gauge, fog light switch, and license plate bulbs with the purchase of the vehicle.
