I grew up working on cars. I love going out on a saturday morning and tinkering or replacing this and that. This car has been my favorite. She has never broken down or stalled. I could always tinker away and then take a afternoon drive. If you know what Im talking about, there has never been frustration, or one issue after another with her. Every thing has been straight forward. When you think about having a car like this, you imagine slowly working and restoring while still enjoying driving. This was her. The only project car i have had like this. If you are looking for a project car you can make your own this is a diamond. I hate selling, but family must come first. Who ever gets her will be well taken care of.

MOTOR: This is the best project car ever. She has never over heated or broken down ever. I drive her through manhattan, sitting in traffic in the heat. I drive between NYC and The hamptons (2 1/2 hours) hwy. See the list of work Ive done in the last 2 years. The hard projects are done.

THE CONVERTIBLE TOP

Custom ordered. This top is NOT VINYL. total cost was $1800

The top is Mohair and the rear window is glass with defroster. The top is sexy when its up.

There is a boot I also ordered made from mohair. only used two months.

Brand new convertible bow Mechanism.

I also have the roll bar (not attached) and the old bow Mechanism.

As well the racing cover (lots of fun.)

The top needs to be put back on.

BODY

( I had her reviewed at a body shop. I was going to have done this year, Every thing is basic cosmetic and not major work)

No Damaging frame or undercarriage rust. She never comes out when its cold. there is minor cosmetic rust at the threshold which is nothing more than detail work.

The paint shines up amazing. I use a black wax in the summer and she is good.

There is a dent on the passenger side rear panel that needs to be pulled out.

INTERIOR

Black vinyl original. All in good shape. Carpet and interior is clean. Dash board in great shape and odometers work.

ELECTRICAL

Like all good MGs, the electrical needs some minor work. I love this model because there is nothing but lights being ran.
