1968 Mgbgt on 2040-cars

For sale is a 1968 MGBGT project. 

The project includes a 1968 MBGGT which is almost ready for the paint shop. 

In addition to the 1968 project car there is a 1971 BGT which was purchased for parts. 

The 1968 has wire wheels and the 1971 has steel. 

Besides the needed miscellaneous parts that were needed for the project, the 1971 came with an aluminum hood. 

There is complete running gear for 2 cars. 

There are 2 engines. One with dual SUs and another with a single Weber. 

There is a verified title for the 1968.  I never bothered to get a title for the 1971. There is a possibility of having two running cars. 

I never drive the 1968 but did get the engine to run and it ran OK except the carbs to need attention.  The 1971 was driven home and ran fine. 

The 68 interior is OK for a driver but not for a show car.  It will need new carpet either way. 

The lower portion of both front fenders were replaced and any rust was well taken care of.  Fender seams are good.
