1968 Mg B on 2040-cars
United States
I believe I am the third owner of this car. I purchased it about 5 years ago. It ran but needed work (sills, floorpans, front and rear suspension). The electrical has always worked and I have only performed light work on that area. It also got a paint job- on the visual exterior and the under carriage as work was performed. All work has been performed by experienced mechanics and also validated by a local British car specialty mechanic. Other work: Brakes, clutch, and radiator. A solid, straight car. For me, this was a great summer (nearly) daily driver. It has always held good oil pressure and I have not had issues with "odd noises" from the transmission. It is not perfect, but a great car. Please feel free to ask any questions. I would not give this up had I not inherited another classic. Other notes: No radio Dials appear to be working (did last fall before winter storage) Wiper work, but not horn (on same switch; common issue) Overall good paint, but I am sure you could find smaller faults. All lenses are original (as far as I know) Generally a good car. No guarantees or warranty- it is a '68. |
