1967 Mgb Roadster British Racing Green, Wire Wheels, Leather & More Hard To Find on 2040-cars

This is an extremely rare version of the Classic MGB. The very earliest cars had not only the more classic metal dash, but also they were usually made in more classic color combos similar to the MGA.  Very few of these early cars survive, and even fewer in this condition.  This car was restored by the previous owner who intended to compete in the regional MG show circut while using it for tours.  It has won several awards, and is a beautiful looking example. 1966 and 67 are the most desirable years of the MGB. Still with the early style classic details such as the metal dash, classic grill, leather seats, etc, but with the stronger and better 5 main bearing engine.  This example is finished in classic British Racing Green with black leather interior.  

Cosmetically it has good paint that was redone several years ago when the rest of the car was gone through.  it remains very nice with no damage or rust bubbles. I recently had it wetsanded and buffed to make it as nice as possible. The chrome has nearly all been refinished or replaced with new bumpers, and grill.  The interior was also completely redone with new panels, dash and top quality custom sewn leather seats in the correct original pattern. The top was also replaced with a new top quality Robbins converible top. 

While this car is very much original in its specification, It also has some upgrades such as an Anza competition exhaust.  Before I bought it, it had been stored for several years, but I  have also had it serviced just recently and it runs great.
 It comes with a car cover, shop manual, owner's manual, jack, full tonneau cover, short tonneau cover etc.  If you are looking for a great early MGB to show or just to drive and enjoy, this is the one!
