This is a gorgeous 1967 Red with Black/Red piping interior MGB Roadster. Comes equipped with both a black tonneau cover and a full top. The history prior to my ownership is as follows. It was beautifully and correctly restored in 2005, and has been driven less than 5000 miles since. The engine was rebuilt to original specifications (electronic ignition has been added) and the entire engine compartment looks brand new. It starts, runs and drives extremely well. All new suspension, steering, braking components, and stainless steel exhaust system as well. New wiring harnesses, hardware trim, crinkle finish dash, seats, complete interior, carpeting, and moldings were all addressed during restoration. The glass appears original and crack free. All dash knobs, switches, and pulls are in good working order and the entire electrical system functions well. A passenger side mirror was installed and a new wood-grain Tourist Trophy steering wheel accents the new interior very nicely. The trunk has been carpeted and the spare tire is covered with the same material. It was professionally restored inside and out. The paint and chrome are excellent. It has a very straight body and there is no evidence of rust anywhere, even the underside looks new. The wire wheels are painted and the tires still have plenty of miles left. Comes complete with the original driver handbook and a complete copy of the shop manual Also included is a lead knock-off hammer, (2) original jacks, new tonneau cover and complete canvas convertible top with support tubing.

Since my ownership, I have had a starter and generator installed. The tach was sent out for re-calibration to accomodate for the electronic ignition. The speedometer works, but is not as accurate as it should be; I use a smartphone app for speed. This beauty has never seen rain since I have owned it.

This is a GREAT CAR. The engine pulls very strong, shifting is great, clutch and brakes operate as they should. Remember, 1967 was the last year for this dash.

Haggerty Insurance has a #1 valued at $29,000 and a #2 valued at $20,700. NADA has a High Retail of $33,200. Based on these valuations, the car is good value with even more upside for you.
