I am selling my 1967 MGB GT. I have been using the car to run errands around town so it is in good running condition. I also completed a 180 mile round trip without any issues (local roads down, highway back). The battery and ignition coil are nearly new. The old rotten rocker panels and sub structure were cut and out replaced with new steel panels from British Motor Heritage (inner and outer sill panels, castle rail, and inner membrane). The front and left side doglegs and quarter sections were also replaced.
I had to complete a stint with the Navy last summer and then go back to school so I did not have time to properly smooth the body before paint. Right now the paint is certainly serviceable as a daily driver but it is not show quality. The interior is very nice and is pleasant to sit in while out and about. The carpets are less than a year old and everything else has been refinished or cleaned.
All of the interior and exterior lights function properly as well as the horn, radio, and tachometer. The speedometer does not work because of a broken angle drive. It stopped at 37,120 at some point during its life which is also what was listed on the title when I got the car (137,120). The women at the DMV insisted the mileage be increased so the title currently say 142,368. The only other thing which does not function is the bonnet release cable. The car will also need a window crank arm for the passenger side and the weatherstripping which goes around the doors.
