1964 pull handle MGB, first of five main bearing engine.  British Heritage Trust Certification, researched, built April, 1964, only 3,517 manufactured, rarest and most valuable model year.  Car titled in U.S.A. as 1965. Total frame off rotisserie restoration, bead blasted body down to bare metal and body totally restored, every nut and bolt replaced with stainless steel.  Car body finished and clear coat painted Mercedes pearl white.  Firewall and undercarriage painted with space age ceramic "Lizard Skin" paint which insulates against heat and sound deadens.  Front end rebuilt and all new braking with new stainless steel tubing and new shocks and front springs.  New wiring harness.  All gauges and switches new except for speedometer.  New Chrome wire wheels.  All chrome plating redone.   All trim, grille, body trim and fasteners new.  Engine is a 1968 1800cc built all new by Sports and Classics of Stamford, Conn. with hardened valves and Downdraft Webber carburetor and Stainless Steel exhaust system.  New windshield glass from England.  Interior red leather seats and matching naugahyde panels and carpet.  New canvas top from England.  Over thirty thousand in receipts for parts.  Total cost of restoration thirty seven thousand dollars.  Car has 2500 miles since restoration.
