Hey there british car fans here is a great car for any one to buy. This is a 1964 early mgb roadster that has all the right features for future collectibility and daily driving. This car is a desirable steel dash car, and has the chrome pull door handles along with all the outside chrome and wire wheels . this car has had a lot of the parts recently replaced and it runs and drives great due to that. The motor is completely overhauled and it looks all stock, that includes new oil cooler and lines, new starter solenoid, new exhaust, carb overhaul, etc , the chrome is almost all new including grill, bumpers, lights, the car has a recent top, the wheels are new a year ago, etc . I was driving this car daily but it is so hot in texas that i just cant do it any more . the car is painted red but it was originally british racing green i believe . the paint is fair but not show , the seats are vinyl and fit well but the car deserves new leather covers , the car has a period correct wood steering wheel but it should have the banjo wheel to be correct. You can enjoy this car , it is totally dependable and rugged which is why the mgb is loved . These early cars have become fairly valuable and they sit lower then the new ones and have more compression . i feel as good in this car as i do in my xke jag . the car does make some transmission bearing noise in first gear but it works fine, the tachometer jumps around , the doors close ok but not perfect and everything works except the gas gauge . these cars are selling in the 7 to 20 grand range depending on condition with non runners selling for 2500 to 6000 . i am going to sell my car so please bid on it if you want to buy it any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 the car has had some floor rust repairs but it is a solid car that is way nicer then most that i have seen thanks i think that you can fly in and drive home but that is not a guarantee , it has almost new tires . you can spend more on a classic car but you cant have much more fun at any price . i can help get the car shipped almost anywhere but the cost is your responsibility and of course i reserve the right to end the auction and sell locally if the reserve is not met thanks
