Up for auction is a 1964 MBG convertible..... It is titled as a 65. This car runs great with no smoke/no knocks ! Many new parts which include two new batteries/new brakes/calipers/exaust system/floor pans/Pirelli tires/carpet/clutch hydraulics/convertible top/rear suspension/steering components/spare wire wheel. It's showing less than 38,000 miles but milage may be closer to 38,000 after showing it locally. I'm selling this car for a customer that brought it to me for some minor repairs but broke his leg (Tonto tricks on a horse !) before I could get started on the repairs and can't drive the car this summer. Although the car runs great there are a couple minor issues that need to be addressed. It will need a new choke cable, new vacumn advance and a tire installed on the (new) spare wire wheel. there is also an emblem missing on the top of the radiator grill which is obvious from the photos. If the reserve price is met I WILL MAKE THESE REPAIRS AT NO COST TO THE BUYER AND HAVE THEM DONE AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP !! There are some very minor flaws in the paint, and other detailing that could be done in the trunk and under the hood but over all this is the nicest MGB thats come through my shop in years.......
