1963 Mgb Restoration Project With Title on 2040-cars
Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, United States
I bought this car in 1994. It was 32 years old then and I was 24. It was supposed to be my wife's wedding present. I purchased all new parts from moss motors, about $3000 worth in 1994. I started the car and drove it around the block. It ran good. I was happy. I decided to restore it. I started the teardown. I got busy, and it sat in the garage. I then moved it to my new home and it sits in the garage there also. All parts are there to put her back together It is missing thr front wheel assembly, axle. .It is an early MGB and highly dersireable. Banjo rear Axle. wire wheels, etc. Has a title which is still in the previous owners name. Never had it changed over, but I do have the title. Car has about 117,000 miles I believe, and the gauges worked. It has been stored inside since 1994. It was sandblasted and covered and is ready for reconstruction. The new wife says that this car has to go. If you are looking for a good project, this is it. |
