1963 Mgb on 2040-cars

MGBs started in May 1962 at VIN GHN3/L/1 01 making this car one of the first
2,200 MGBs out of 503,000 built, adding to its genuine collector’s value.
This MGB has 24,000 indicated on the odometer. Body is flawlessly straight, paint is show quality, no
indication of repair or filler, it is the absolute best MGB body we have ever seen. No rust
underneath, incredibly clean for being nearly fifty years old.
Our test of the engine indicate as close to ‘as new’ as one could imagine …. perfect oil pressure
and compression, no smoke on cold start up or when running, excellent transmission, front end,
brakes, steering, etc. all are in excellent working order.
The trunk is nicely painted and shows no sign of rust or repair, convertible top is new and fits
perfectly, chrome seems to be a combination of new and excellent original but the overall ‘look’ of
the car is excellent.
All original gauges and switches work, we can see a new fuel tank and pump, interior appears to
be recently redone and is in excellent condition, and dashboard and padding are excellent and
presumed original.
Overall, one of the best early MGBs we have ever seen or driven.
