For sale one 1960 1600 Fixed Head Coupe. Beautifull full body off restoration just completed with less than 10 miles since completion. I purschased this mga from the wife of the last owner who passed away awhile back ,the car was brought from california to idaho in 1993.The mg was a totally rust and accident free car very nice body. I sandblasted the entire body only doing light body work ,zero rust work no patches anywhere which is unheard of in these cars. The p owner had all the misc components powder coated which will make them last a long time. This car was done right no expense. every nut and bolt,the underneath is as nice as the top. Very rare only 1445 built in 1960 with less than 2800 1600 coupes compared to over 15000 roadsters. Repainted in British Racing Green single stage ppg urathane,sanded and buffed. All new chrome,body rubber,4 new dunlop radails were added. Complete new leather interior,with upgraded wilton wool carpet including the trunk 1k in carpet alone. Original 1600 motor was completly rebuilt along with the mga trans . All new brake components disc brakes new fuel lines and brake lines,new stainless steel exhust system which is beautifull. New fabric wiring,new regulator and single 12 volt battery. New front glass and complete rubber kit . Even has the optional factory sunvisors which are impossible to find. Rebuilt original dual carbs very nice engine detail way better the when they were built. New wood floors,new wood steering wheel. The car is done and ready to enjoy the price of the coupe is very fair the restoration alone is way more than iam asking . Both door handles are the originals with some piting.
