1961 MGA roadster. Very solid example that has been in dry storage since 1979. I bought this car with the usual intentions of restoring it but am out of room and have others to do first. The previous owner had owned the car for some years before he started to renovate it and then passed away. It was then put away and more or less forgotten about. I'll try to be brief with a description of the car. Very minor rust! Frame looks great. It has a very small hole along side the body mounts inside the car. The left outer rocker under the fender needs a small patch welded. The left rear fender needs the dogleg replaced and the battery boxes have had a section removed from them. All of this could be done in an afternoon or less. Both outer rockers have been remove and new ones fitted but not welded yet. The floor rails all look good. The front valance is bent under some from a parking curb or like object. The right rear fender has signs of some body filler that appears to be from a dent. The left front has had a panel welded in and looks good. I can't seem to find the cover that fits the bulkhead between the interior and boot? The fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid are all loosely bolted on for easier transport. There are a couple of boxes of new parts that had been purchased. These include but not limited to: front bumper and overriders, sill plates, welting, engine gasket set, tie rod ends, rack boots, a knob set for the dash, clutch and pressure plate, and so on. The original dash had been cut for a radio but I purchased an uncut one to use. The engine is out and has new pistons installed. I have not removed the oil pan to check the lower end. I had the head rebuilt using hardened seats, and all new valves. This cost $400 alone.Transmission rolls fine and isn't really dirty like most. I have the top frame and all the fender splash panels. Seats were bought from another car and missing whatever fastens to the frame and then to the sliders. This is a very nice example of a late MGA to restore! Call or email with any questions or concerns. I have more pictures to send if needed. This is a no reserve auction! I've started the car in my opinion less than what it's worth so bid away!

It's been too long since owning one of these! I remember the place behind the seats that opens into the boot has no cover. That's why I could not locate it.
