Located this rust free MGA in a barn a few miles from Bellingham,Wa. It had been completely disassembled by the previous owner in 1979,this was the last year it was on the road. He then stored the MGA and all the parts in a dry barn. Unfortunately before he had a chance to perform any restoration work he passed away in a boating accident in 2012. Since then we have reassembled the  MGA to the point of making it a running and (yard) driving car. So it runs,clutch and transmission and brakes all work. The engine runs fine but has no exhaust,does have 50 PSI oil pressure. The brake/clutch master cylinder are rebuilt.The clutch itself is less than 1/2 worn. The engine and transmission have new oil. Transmission works fine. After sitting for so many years the fuel tank needed cleaning,so that has been done as well as the fuel lines and pump have been cleaned. It has been converted to a single 12v battery. The MGA starts and runs off the key,but they are the ONLY electrical components that are connected. A Ford solenoid was installed to keep the starter wiring simple.There are a brand new front bumper (pictured) and grille (on the car) that are included in the sale. Unsure if we have the bumper brackets,will keep looking for them-there were a LOT of boxes when we picked up this car. The top,top bows and seats are all there but as you can see by the photos they need replaced.In a nutshell this MGA is about 95% complete and is a very dry/rust free car and an ideal candidate for a complete restoration. You cannot "drive this car home"-you will have to bring a trailer.
At the very least to make this MGA a "driver"you would have to do all the brakes (they work,I wouldn't trust them),wire up the lights,install a complete exhaust system and probably a few other minor repairs.
 The car is currently in primer. I has described this car as accurately as I can. I would highly encourage you to come see it in person,or at least send someone you trust to view it. If you are located somewhere outside North America I will work with you and your shipper to ensure a smooth transaction,I have exported several cars and light duty trucks. If you are wanting to send more money than the car is worth and me pay you the difference.......don't bother,I think the entire planet is on to that scam as well as every derivative thereof.
