up for sale is my 1957 MGA roadster....I found it in a barn two years ago and after making it streetable, I now am selling the car...

it is powered by a small block chevy engine 305 cu in- heads redone, 340hp 327 solid lifter cam, performer intake new edelbrock 4 bbl carb, most all engine parts were new, but were

sitting for many years, but all perform as new or were replaced....it has a rebuilt 5 core copper radiator, electric cooling fan, ALL gauges work correctly, ALL lights inc

turn signals work correctly, has working E brake, new tires, new brakes, new master cylinder, has hydraulic clutch release system, rack and pinion steering... complete new aluminized

exhaust system w/ cherry bomb mufflers....4 lug steel wheels on front, front disc brakes/rear drum brakes...

5 on 5 1/2 ford steel wheels on the rear, new hurst shifter...the trans is a close ratio 4 speed - I was told it was an m22, but I cannot verify this unless I take the side cover off and I will let

the new owner do this - it certainly IS close ratio and has the sound like an m22 gearing makes....the rear I was told was a 3.00 ratio, but again, I cannot verify this other than to say, it

comes off the line good and has lots of power all thru the gears and pulls hard in 4th gear - this car will give a real cobra a run for her money!....the interior is a brown patchwork leather

with beige trim, it had shag carpets which I removed to inspect the floorboards and threw the rug away - the floor is mainly plywood and is in great shape as is the metal around them

the wiring is well done and not a rats nest - originally when built in the 60's, the car was powered by a 390 ford w/top loader which was replaced in the 90's with the current driveline

and then put into another garage - in total, the car has seen maybe 2 years on the road - one of which I put on it this past year with NO troubles at all....it still has the am/fm cartridge

player in it from the 60's...

the interior was further modified in the 2000's with a new roll bar assy and steel tunnel - both professionally installed - this year I modified the roll bar so the convertible top could be used

- down, it stores behind the seats out of the way....the front end has been stabilized with the addition of tubular supports to the firewall and the roll cage is affixed to the frame and

in the trunk area frame as well...the top is in good condition with a foggy rear window - maybe it could be buffed more to allow better visibility....the top fits nice and tight and I made a

removeable steel bracket to keep it tight to the center of the windshield frame as well...the body is very solid with no rust...little body filler....some dings and dents that I did not remove -

I cleaned the hood and that was it....the front grille opening was modified - resembles a cobra to some extent - the car has adequate air intake and runs kool in the summer....the

farthest I have driven in one clip is about 150 miles and then returned home the same day - the car rides pretty good too - better than my own hotrod roadster!... the car is NYS inspected

- yes even the wipers work!...I love driving this car - it is fast, sounds good, and is dependable and with the top down in the summer looks great too....the trunk area is also, rust free and

solid as a rock....some body work and its done, or drive it like it is and have a blast - looking to sell to complete another project ...I will ship anywhere in the world, but make sure if you bid

additional info....it has an original front suspension - mostly rebuilt....it has an electric fuel pump.....original 60's spun aluminum disc wheel covers...doors/trunk/hood open and close well..

.frame excellent with NO rot!...this was a tilt nose originally - previous owner welded it back together hence the rough-looking area across the mid front end lines -

easy cover with a skinning of mud....traction bars too................I will include the old master cyl and 2 grilles that I got with the car and 1 yellow taillight lens....all else is gone.
