This 1957 MGA Coupe has undergone a recent restoration with modifications--intending to be used as a daily driver.

The engine---new rings, valves, valve guides, seals, and gaskets.  New spin-off oil filter conversion. New stainless exhaust system.  Negative ground conversion resulting in having an alternator, electronic distributor, and electric conversions of the oil, water, and tachometer sender units for the gauges.  The only mechanical instrument is the speedometer that runs off of the transmission.  The battery was moved to the engine compartment for convenience.  New wiring harness.

The new radiator is aluminum with a larger surface area for cooling.

The fuel system starts with a new tank, sender unit, fuel pump and filter, and ends with a new Weber 32/36 carb.

All lights and lens are new front and back.  Other new items include the bumpers, grille, windshield and one side door window--all other glass is original and in acceptable condition.  The red lacquer paint and clearcoat was applied within the last year.

The body underwent a frame-off restoration with with new sheet-metal in any areas of concern.  The frame was media-blasted, primed and painted.

The interior includes new Dolphin dash gauges, new upholstery, carpets, tan vinyl seats and headliner.  The one major modification on the interior would be the quick-release steering wheel that is attached to the original telescoping steering column for ease of egress.

The wire wheels were repainted and clearcoated--new tires and chrome knockoffs.
