You are bidding on a very solid 1957 MGA coupe stored for over 20 years in a dry garage and recently purchased from an estate.  I am not an MG guy but this car appears to be complete.  The only thing detracting from the car is the poor paint job and poor bodywork where there was a dent (see photo) in the left front fender is that was filled with bondo before painting rather than pulling the dent our first.   There is solid metal under the dent.   This is a wire wheel car and I have put two new radials on the rear where the original tires and tubes had dryrotted.  The front tires appear to be ok.  The original pair of batteries is gone but with a little work this car should run.  Floors, trunk floor and spare tire well are solid.  Chrome is exceptional.  Original windscreen rubber chrome trim and rear window chrome trim are there.   Odometer shows 28,991 miles and this may well be original as the car does not appear to have been run much and the body is very solid.  Seats and interior are original and very presentable.  Seats are leather and have a great old English leather smell.  I have not tried to turn the engine but have put penetrating oil down each cylinder.  Plug electrodes were dry and uncorroded.  This car would make an excellent daily driver with a little attention.  Winning bidder to pay 50% deposit within 24 hours of auction close with remainder due within five days or in cash upon pickup.   I would welcome any potential buyers to come and inspect the car before the auction closes.   I prefer to sell this car within the United States to an American buyer and discourage overseas buyers.  I will not block overseas buyers but do not ask me to arrange for shipping.  Call Larry for appointment at 540-854-6432 or to ask questions about the car.  Thanks for bidding.
