Custom neoprene seat covers have been in this vehicle since the 800 mile mark as to keep the almost white leather looking beautiful. 18" x 8" Fr/19" x 9.5" Rr Cast Alloy Wheels have been powder coated racing yellow by Procoat and look stunning, ABS brakes, Electronic Stability Control, Heated door mirrors, Low tire pressure warning, Remote keyless entry, and Traction control. One owner, Me, has taken great care of this car. There is one tiny door ding on the passenger side that could easily get handled at any body shop. email me for a photo. This Evora came with the sport package and the premium interior so has the basics of Leather Shift Knob, Leather steering wheel, MP3 decoder, Occupant sensing airbag, Outside temperature display, Panic alarm, Passenger door bin, Power door mirrors,  Power steering, Power windows, Premium audio system,  Alpine AM/FM w/CD/MP3/WMA, Rear anti-roll bar, Recaro Front Sport Seats, Security system, Spoiler, Sport steering wheel, Tachometer, Telescoping steering wheel, Tilt steering wheel, and Trip computer....etc. also the pirelli p-zeros that came on it fell apart at 7000 miles and now has brand new michelin ss which to my surprise actually handle better than the pzeros did. of course people will debate this until the world ends but i enjoy the michelins more. they are just as expensive as the pzeros but should get 25000-30000 miles compared to 5000-9000 miles with the pzeros.

garage kept from day one with an indoor dust cover. smoke and food free car.

honestly this is a rad car and part of me hopes no one buys it but with 4 kids and giant dog i told my wife i would put it up. its a mixed bag. buy it, or dont...im good either way. ha.

This car is used and sold as is. By all means come check it out. there are plenty of ways to ship a car and you are more than welcome to do some digging and im more than happy to help with the scheduling of delivery but im not in the car sell business so you need to pick your own shipping company.

if you have questions, email me and ill see what i can do.

Next Lotus Elise to draw from its roots

Wed, Jul 27 2016

Recently-appointed Lotus CEO Jean-Marc Gales told Autocar that work on the new Lotus Elise, which is coming in 2020, is already underway, and thanks to growing sales, the automaker is set to make a profit for the first time in 20 years. Gales also dropped some details about the new sports cars' design philosophy and underpinnings. According to the report, the new Elise will utilize the same aluminum chassis technology found in the original Elise and won't bear any resemblance to the 2010 Elise concept. Instead, the upcoming vehicle will uphold its roots with a lightweight design that emphasizes driver involvement at an affordable price. The new Elise is rumored to weigh in at roughly 1,984 pounds, almost 384 pounds more than the original Elise. In order to meet US crash ratings, the Elise will most likely be wider, but have the same length as the current model. Power will probably come from a Toyota unit producing between 134 horsepower and 245 horsepower. The Elise is expected to come to the US where it will be offered with a manual and automatic transmission, which will both come from Toyota as well. Gales claims Lotus has more orders now than in any year in the last 10 years, with the US being one of the automaker's most important markets. Related Video:

In hindsight, Musk wouldn't use Lotus for Tesla Roadster

Thu, May 15 2014

The world will be a different place after Elon Musk builds a time traveling device (don't ask us how we know that will happen). For one thing, the Tesla Roadster of the rewritten future will not have been built using the chassis of the Lotus Elise. Also, verb tenses will be becoming even more confusing and, possibly, awkward. "We ended up changing most of the damn car" – Elon Musk We know about the not-using-the-Lotus thing because the Tesla Motors CEO said as much yesterday at the World Energy Innovation Forum at the Tesla Factory in Fremont. The two-day event, which also offers Model S test rides and a factory tour for attendees, featured a fireside chat with the electric automaker's CEO and Ira Ehrenpreis. During the discussion, Musk revealed that if he had to do it over again, he would have built the Roadster from the ground up instead of using the Lotus Elise chassis. "We ended up changing most of the damn car, so we thought later, why did we do that," he said. Another problem with the original idea for the car was the drivetrain. At first, Tesla had meant to use the motor and other propulsive bits from AC Propulsion, only to find that powertrain didn't work well in a commercial application. Instead Tesla only licensed the reductive charging patent, which allowed some integration of the inverter and charger. Besides knocking Tesla's own early efforts, the outspoken entrepreneur took a couple swings at other technologies with quotable quotes such as: "The internal combustion engine is a ridiculous thing!" and "Current lithium ion technology is better than theoretical fuel cell limits. So, game over. Why bother with fuel cells?" Looks like there are some things Musk is not interested in going back in time and changing.

Lotus Evora, Exige, and Elise add lightness to Geneva

Thu, Mar 3 2016

The folks at Lotus have been quite busy over the past few months adding lightness to their vehicles. Since December, the company has introduced lighter, quicker versions of the Evora, Exige, and Elise, and all three members of the trio are present at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Each one is special in its own way, but if you crave a nimble sports car, you probably wouldn't be disappointed with any of these new models. The Evora Sport 410 is the most luxurious member of the bunch, at least by Lotus standards. At 2,921 pounds, it's also the heaviest, but a 410-horsepower 3.5-liter supercharged V6 makes this one the most powerful, too. The coupe can rocket to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds and to a 186-mph top speed. Lotus will make just 150 of these special Evoras per year, and they'll have carbon fiber parts for the roof, tailgate, sports seats, and more. Best of all, this will be the only one of these three that will get a North American version. The Exige Sport 350 Roadster is the coolest member of this group, featuring tartan seats that we absolutely love. It's also the quickest of the three, reaching 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, and it tops out at 170 mph. The rapid sprint is possible because the 345-hp 3.5-liter supercharged V6 only needs to push 2,480 pounds. The Elise Cup 250 rounds out the group with the lightest weight at 2,053 pounds (2,030 pounds with the optional Carbon Aero Package) but the least power at 243 hp. However, it certainly isn't slow with a 60-mph run in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 154 mph. Lotus plans to make just 200 of them year each year. If you could pick any one of the three, which would you choose? The Evora might be the most livable every day but chucking around the Elise could be a barrel of fun. There're also those fantastic seats in the Exige. Let us know in Comments which one you want the most.
