1962 BRUNTON STALKER M CLASS
Titled as a 1962 Lotus
For your consideration I am offering my meticulously maintained BRUNTON STALKER M CLASS kit car chassis number
#008 constructed by Brunton Stalker in St. Petersburg, Florida and built/assembled by an experienced North Carolina
mechanic/enthusiast in 2014 which comprised his 3rd Stalker construction project. There is a strong resemblance to
a Lotus, an Americanized Lotus on double steroids.
The vehicle is Texas titled as a 1962 Lotus and powered by a very low mileage 2012 6.2 litre LS3 Camaro engine
which produces an incredible 530 HP and more than 800 "road shearing" ft-lbs of torque (Dyno Tested) on four brand
new TOYO R 888 tires installed just four weeks ago with 15 miles of use. Please note in the pictures the custom
built aluminum radiator which rendered excellent service from the extreme southern Texas summers having never
overheated, even in heavy traffic. The transmission is a 6L80E automatic; manual shifting is done by using red
push buttons on the steering wheel, with gear selection indicated on a dashboard display. The car is weighing in at
only 1850 lbs and less than 4000 miles on the odometer.
For fastest acceleration a 2800 rpm torque converter is installed.
The body is of fiberglass and aluminum.
A brake bias adjustment is located on the central tunnel. A master kill switch is installed on the dashboard.
The car has a full adjustable suspension including shock absorber set up.
In inclement weather the car is custom fitted and protected by a high quality SUNBRELLA brand tonneau cover and
a (winter) cold weather full enclosure, which takes only minutes to remove. The car is fully sorted and track ready
and even street legal as this is a serious race car that can propel a competent driver from 0-60 MPH in under 3
seconds. More than $ 50,000 is invested in this Brunton Stalker M Class / Lotus and this automotive beast needs a
young, more experienced driver who can unleash the mind numbing potential that was built into this car. A
"safecart" report can be sent on request. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can answer any questions

Lotus Emeya concludes winter testing, brings unique treats
Sun, Mar 3 2024Think of the Lotus Emeya as the sedan form of the Eletre SUV, transferring Lotus' newest brand values into a body style closer in spirit to the old Lotus. As the automaker marches toward production later this year, we've got a few more details on what's to come with the English foe of the Taycan competitor. Battery size is said to be 102 kWh; if that's accurate, that would be down slightly on the Eletre SUV's gross 112-kWh battery that provides a usable 109-kWh. Lotus says the sedan's range will be "broadly similar" to the Eletre, which is rated to go up to 373 miles on the WLTP cycle. The sedan, like its brother, is built on an 800-volt system capable of 350-kW fast-charging, and uses two motors to power both axles. A top-shelf Emeya R trim should pack the same power as the Eletre R, 905 horsepower and 726 pound-feet, the Emeya's lower profile and lighter weight taking a coupe of tenths off the Eletre's 2.95-second sprint to 60 miles per hour. At least two wild specs separate the Emeya from the Eletre: A 55-inch augmented-reality head-up display. Lotus says the projection on the Electre is 29 inches. In addition to being "the largest and most advanced in any Lotus," it offers "a Snow Mode which turns the display blue, helping the driver to see the outline of the road more easily against a white background." Who needs an Apple Vision Pro, eh? The sedan also fits an active rear spoiler that's four inches broader than the SUV's from front to back, at 11.7 inches compared to 7.7 inches. Adjusting the spoiler's angle on the SUV can produce up to 112.5 kilograms of downforce. The sedan's spoiler rings up a maximum of 215 kg of downforce at speed. The Emeya's top speed is an electronically capped 159 mph, six miles per hour below the SUV's, done to preserve battery health. Lotus recently concluded a series of winter tests that are part of the company's three-year development testing across 15 countries, working out the Emeya in temps as low as negative 13 Fahrenheit and locking the car in a freezer at -40 F to gauge how its systems performed. After going on sale in China, the Emeya heads to Europe and then to the U.S., so we shouldn't expect it until sometime next year, joined by the Evija hypercar. Car magazine said it saw a Lotus presentation that mentioned an MSRP of $100,000, almost identical to the base Porsche Taycan's U.S. MSRP. Related Video:
Aston Martin and Lotus each issue recalls
Sun, 14 Oct 2012A pair of head-turning high performance cars are catching some attention off a different kind, in the form of safety recalls. Aston Martin and Lotus have issued recalls for the V12 Vantage Coupe and Evora, respectively.
Aston Martin's affects 169 examples of the 2009-2012 V12 Vantage Coupe. It concerns the tire-pressure monitoring system, and is less a malfunction than it is a compliance issue. The TPMS does not alert the driver until the front tire is more than 25 percent below the recommended cold tire pressure. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 138 states that the alarm must sound when tire pressure is "equal to or less than either the pressure 25 percent below" the recommended cold inflation pressure. To address the issue, Aston Martin will notify owners and reprogram the software, free of charge.
As for Lotus, 80 supercharged Evoras have been recalled, all built between February and September, 2011. The problem involves an engine-mounted oil feed pipe, which could rupture, causing loss of engine oil or a possible fire if the oil sprays onto a hot engine.
Lotus settles with ex-CEO Dany Bahar, avoids London High Court
Sun, 25 May 2014Five years after it began, it appears the Dany Bahar tenure at Lotus is finally over. After former Lotus owner Proton brought in the ex-Ferrari and Red Bull marketing savant to run the company in 2009, everything had gone pear-shaped by 2012: Proton had been sold to Malaysian auto supplier DRB-Hicom, who suspended Bahar and then fired him for what it said were expense-account transgressions (although Bob Lutz reportedly said something different).
The separation led to the expected suit and countersuit, Lotus going after Bahar to get its money back, Bahar filing a $10.6-million suit againt Lotus for wrongful termination and potential bonus money. The case was set to go to trial next month but both parties have settled, the terms undisclosed, a DRB-Hicom statement saying only that "the parties involved in the legal suit have signed a Settlement Agreement and Release... and have agreed to withdraw their claims against each other."
Now that that bit of housecleaning is all cleared up, can new CEO Jean-Marc Gales please get our Esprit?
