1975 Lincoln Continental MARK IV. V8 460ci. Auto. 56,xxx original miles. It runs, drives, shifts, and sounds amazing. Everything works on this classic...Exterior/interior lights, power windows, power locks, windshield wipers, hot heat, hide away headlights, even the original 8 track!! It has a good ride/suspension and is fun to cruise around. It draws attention everywhere it rolls. This car has been owned since 1985 and was ALWAYS garage kept. I have provided a detailed description with over 100 detailed pictures along with video clips. I would want the same done for me if I was buying a vehicle through Ebay. I have the clean and clear title in my name, in hand, and ready for a new owner. Hopefully with the hours I have invested in taking pictures and making this auction I have answered all questions, but if not, feel free to call: 513-464-TEN TWENTY. But please read everything and view all of the pics/videos prior to calling.
This body panels are all original. The hood, both doors, and trunk open and close with that tight clicking sound you find on newer cars. All of the glass is crack free. The body is razor straight with its original white paint and red pin stripe. The frame, floorpans, and trunk have surface rust, but everything appears to be VERY solid underneath. The paint still has a shine, but there is some rust forming in a few places. Everything is extremely solid with exception of the drivers front fender well lip. You can see this in the pictures. This would be a perfect foundation for an easy restoration. It is sporting its original rims(in excellent condition) wrapped with new tires. The original spare wheel and jack is also intact in the trunk. Both bumpers are in good original condition, but there is one spot on the front bumper that has rust. The original white vinyl top is showing some wear, but still looks pretty good. This is all just my opinion......Pictures will say a thousand words below, but needless to say this is an extremely original and rare Mark IV that turns heads everywhere.
56,xxx original miles. (Title says 90,xxx actual, previous owner accidently wrote 90k and explained to me what happened.)
Original V8 460 with new stainless steel valve guides.
-NEW jasper automatic transmission.(Shifts into every gear PERFECTLY)
-New complete exhaust system.(No exhaust leaks and sounds great!)
-New white wall tires.
-New front shocks.
-New master cylinder, brakes, and calipers.
-New battery.
-This MARK IV does leak a little power steering fluid underneath it. I have not located where it is coming from, but there is no other leaks that I have knoteced.
The interior is original. It is white and red. The dash and all of the wood grain is in excellent condition. The door panels are in good condition for being original. The white/red front leather seat is in decent condition, but the drivers side is cracked up pretty bad. The white/red rear leather seat is in good condition. The carpet is decent. And the headliner is in good conditon. Still has original floormats. The power windows, locks, and tilt wheel works. The power seat also works!! The hideaway headlights work like new. This MARK IV also has its original 8 track stereo! The stereo sounds good throughout its factory speakers and the 8 track still works! All of the original gauges work great with exception of the fuel gauge. It does rarely work, but most of the time it sits on empty. I am thinking it has a bad connection, but not sure. The interior is amazing condition for being almost 4 decades old!
Overall, this is a an absolutely rare original find of a classic Lincoln Mark IV. It has been well taken care of throughout the years, but definitely shows signs of age. It can be driven the way it is or you can of course restore it while you cruise it. It is blast to cruise around and has a very comfortable suspension ride with a lot of power from the big V8 460. If you read the description and look at all pics below, then there is absolutely no disapointments with this vehicle. I really cannot nitpick much about it considering how old it is..however I tried in the description above, as I would want the same done for me.

It used to be that if you wanted a luxury SUV, you had to go big. Just look at the first high-riders released by some of the major luxury automakers - Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade, Lexus LX - and you'll see what we mean. But since 2009 the small premium crossover segment has grown a whopping 200 percent, so it's no surprise that each has followed up with smaller luxury crossovers. And this is the latest. At the other end of the utility spectrum from the Navigator, the new Lincoln MKC is based on the Ford Escape (much as the old pseudo-premium Mercury Mariner was), but completely rebodied and luxed up to put it in another league. Although we're still not sold on Lincoln's family fascia, the grille treatment on the MKC is certainly one of the better variations on the theme to date. The Dart-like rear lights dominate the wrap-around tailgate, and the overall shape looks taut and upscale. The same can be said of the dynamically-designed interior, taking the concept revealed in Detroit earlier this year to production fairly seamlessly. Power will come from a choice of EcoBoost four-cylinder engines with turbocharging and direct injection: a 2.0-liter with 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, or a slightly punchier new 2.3-liter with 275 hp and 300 lb-ft. Lincoln didn't disclose what transmission they'll be mated to, but did note that the MKC carries the brand's "signature" push-button gear shifter. It comes standard in front drive, but buyers who upgrade to all-wheel drive (or tick the right box) will also benefit from a new adaptive suspension Lincoln calls Continuously Controlled Damping. Other features include an approach-detection system that lights the car up and projects a Lincoln "welcome mat" on the pavement when you get close to the car, and a "bread-crumbing" feature that lets you track where your vehicle has been.
The Lincoln Continental concept that debuted at the 2015 New York Auto Show was an absolute star of the event thanks to its handsome lines and sumptuous interior. At the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, we'll get to see how well those fantastic looks transition to the road, as Lincoln will debut the production version there, according to Car and Driver. A market launch will reportedly come later in the year. The stately styling, including the mesh grille, is expected to move largely unaltered to production, but Lincoln is still being vague about the luxury sedan's mechanical parts. The brand's marketing manager Imran Jalal tells Car and Driver the Continental is based on a front-wheel drive platform but an all-wheel drive version in assured. Based on details from the New York show, it reportedly uses a Lincoln-exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 for power. There are no plans for a hybrid, either, according to Jalal. Assembly of the Continental is expected to happen at Ford's Flat Rock, MI, factory alongside the Mustang and Fusion. The MKS, which the new Lincoln replaces, is built in Chicago along with several other models. Freeing up the space there, could let the Blue Oval keep up with demand for the Explorer. While the Continental ushers in styling changes for Lincoln, the shift doesn't extend to model names. Contrary to earlier rumors, the brand doesn't intend to abandon the MK model names in the lineup anytime soon, according to Jalal. Related Video:
If there's one brand that could really use some fresh, all-new product, it's Lincoln. The MKC crossover is on the way and looks promising, but the just-revealed 2015 model year update of its fullsize Navigator would appear to stop somewhere short of being "all-new." This, despite replacing a product that's been on the market since 2007. Oh sure, there's a brash new face, complete with the company's love or hate split-wing grille, and the revised rear-end treatment does look better to our eyes (if overly familiar). But in the era of the bold new all-aluminum Ford F-150, the Navigator is still based on the outgoing model's all-steel bones, so it's more of an extensive mid-cycle refresh than a completely new piece. Unlike the F-150, there's no aluminum suit on this black-tie bruiser That's a shame, really, because the class the Navigator is playing in features a host of really modern, stylish, luxurious crossovers and sport utilities like the Cadillac Escalade, Land Rover Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and more. Unlike the F-150, there's no aluminum suit on this black-tie bruiser, but that's not to say it isn't bringing some new tech to the table in 2015. Under the hood, for example, is Ford's well-received 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6, putting out "at least" 370 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. That's a solid engine, and should be a whole lot more spunky and efficient than the archaic 5.4-liter Triton V8 currently being employed in the outgoing model.
