For your consideration is a 1978 Lincoln Mark V Diamond Jubilee.
This car has 23,192 miles on its original factory engine.
I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. The 2nd owner owned it for a very short period or time.
Air conditioning pump was replaced last fall. I'm not 100% sure if the vinyl is original but it looks to be. I'm not 100% sure if this is the original Diamond Blue Metallic factory paint from the factory but it looks like the original color if it is not. No visible rust or bubbling on the car. It has been garaged when not in use all of its life. It has been stored in a climate controlled warehouse since I have owned it.
The seats and upholstery look as new as well as the dash. The JPM initials monogram is on the doors. This came as a factory option. There is also a pinstripe down the center of the hood and running along both sides of the car.
Shipment of the Lincoln can be arranged to anywhere in the continental United States and will roughly cost $1000 give or take to do so. I will charge only the exact cost to ship the car whatever that may be on either the carrier I will use or another that you may like to use.

Ford recalls 1.3 million Fusions, MKZs: Steering wheels could come off
Wed, Mar 14 2018When driving a car, the steering wheel is only expected to move in a rotational fashion, either clockwise or counter-clockwise. When it moves in some other direction, something is wrong, and when it moves the wrong way enough that it is no longer attached to the steering column, that's a really, really bad thing. And apparently, according to a recall issued by Ford, there are over 1.3 million Ford Fusions and Lincoln MKZs that are at risk of this happening. And at least two accidents and one injury have been attributed to the issue. Ford says the problem is that the steering wheel bolt that keeps the wheel attached to the column might not provide enough torque, resulting in the bolt slowly loosening and working its way off the column. The good news is that the fix is really simple. Ford will install a larger bolt with more threads along with a larger nylon patch to keep it all locked down. The fix is completely free to owners. Cars affected by the recall include 2014 to 2017 Fusions built built at the Flat Rock plant in Michigan between August 6, 2013, and February 29, 2016. Model year 2014-2018 Fusions and MKZs built at the Hermosillo factory in Mexico are also affected. Sometimes those updates of old-school models really worked well, though. Just take a look above at the Lincoln Continental concept from 2002 that took the extruded shape of the 1960s version and updated it for the new millennium.
Now there's a chance for this gorgeous concept to take a spot in your garage, as RM Auctions is selling it as part of a 130-plus-car, no-reserve auction of the Sam Pack Collection on November 14 and 15, in Dallas, TX. Among the lots for sale are a number of Fords, including several recent concepts from the brand. "My collecting philosophy is simple: buy what I like, but always with an emphasis on quality," Pack said in the auction announcement.
The Continental concept absolutely nails the mix of modern and retro. Its perfectly crisp lines make the shape appear hewn from a single piece of metal, and there's just the slightest ornamentation with the angled, chrome slats in the grille and chrome strips over the wheel arches. It even retains the suicide doors from its inspiration.
