You are viewing a 1975 Lincoln Mark IV luxury group edition in brilliant gold with corresponding leather interior. It is a two-owner, 44K mile automobile with a strong 460 cu in motor and all the power accesories including ice cold A/C, recently fitted with new whitewalls. A full tune-up was also just performed to ensure that it is ready to be driven. It is nearly flawless and I urge anyone serious about acquiring it to come look at it in person, as it will astound you. The paintwork is the best I have ever seen and it has to be one of the most impressive Mark IV's anywhere. It is literally the color of pure gold.
I've included a photo of a brake rotor and caliper I took when the tires were being put on to give you an indication of just how well-preserved this car is in every way. The undercarriage is as impressive as the exterior. And additionally, I was even able to locate the build sheet less than a week ago, which will allow you to trace the originality of this car much more thoroughly than you otherwise could.
This is an incredibly well sorted-out automobile, therefore I am not a terribly motivated seller, but I would love to see it go to a new owner that will have more time and opportunity to drive this car as often it should be driven. If you submit an offer that I am considering I will send you an email through ebay just to confirm you are a serious buyer and that you understand all the terms of an accepted offer. I find things go much more smoothly that way. Please let me know if you have any questions and please view the video and the 150+ photos at the links below.

Next Lincoln Navigator to drop V8 in favor of V6, but Ford Expedition might get both
Tue, 12 Mar 2013A great many buyers fled from full-size body-on-frame SUVs to car-based crossovers in large measure to save fuel. But that doesn't mean there's still not a buying audience for more traditional truck-based utility vehicles, and those consumers doubtlessly wouldn't mind saving some dollars at the pump, too. According to Motor Trend, those shoppers might be in luck.
That's because the magazine has confirmed that Ford isn't walking away from the full-size SUV segment, and it's poised to do something about its offerings' economy ratings, too. According to MT, global Lincoln director Matt VanDyke has hinted that the next Navigator may drop two cylinders and go with a V6 model - the current model gets just 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 on the highway from its 5.4-liter V8. The obvious fitment would be Ford's 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, an engine that has spread like kudzu throughout the rest of the Blue Oval's large vehicle lineup.
Downsized turbocharged engines like Ford's EcoBoost franchise have come under fire as of late for not delivering their EPA fuel economy ratings, but their benefits extend beyond consumption - the 3.5L offers superior power and a better torque curve than the naturally aspirated V8. MT also suggests that Ford's 3.7-liter V6 could form the base engine for the next Navi - it has similar horsepower but a lot less torque than the current 5.4L. That may be less of a problem with the next generation tipped to go on a diet, which could level the playing field somewhat.

Lincoln has finally given its SUV a facelift after seven long years.
Seven years is a long time. For the auto industry, though, seven years is an absolute eternity. Most vehicles receive clean-sheet redesigns within the span of seven years, usually getting a facelift of some sort after year three or four. Not Lincoln.
Lincoln poised to double MKZ Hybrid production
Thu, 18 Jul 2013The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid has been something of a hit for Ford since the beginning, exceeding the company's modest projected 15-percent take rate for more than two years (we say "modest" because that still means an overwhelming majority of Lincoln customers are passing up on the gas-electric powertrain even though it costs the same as the standard model). Either way, Lincoln builds 700 MKZ Hybrids at its plant in Mexico each month, but has sold 715 of them in each of the past three months. That's why, according to a report in The Detroit News, when the restyled 2014 MKZ Hybrid arrives (non-hybrid pictured), Ford is doubling production compared to 2013. Instead of the hybrid model being 20 percent of production, the new hybrid will make up 40 percent.
Ford is doing well with hybrids in general - its portion of the electrified vehicle segment jumping 12 points in a single year to 16 percent. Assuming Ford doesn't change the pricing strategy (along with the changes Ford is making to calibration to improve fuel economy), the sedan could continue to "[show] other luxury hybrids how it's done" when it goes on sale later this year.
