Mechanical:
The car starts right up and has a very clean engine bay with no rust. The brakes have been serviced and the car stops as it should. The motor is strong and has no issues. The transmission shifts flawlessly and also has no issues. All engine components are operating correctly with exception of the A/C. It blows mildly cold but not icy. It needs a charge and I have been trying to get some R-12.
Exterior:
The exterior is perfect and the paint is like new. This is the only thing on the car that has been restored. It was repainted in 1991. There are no dents, no dings, no scratches, and absolutley no rust. Words cant describe the quality of this paint job. The vinyl top is all original and in absolutely perfect condition. The chrome and stainless trim are in beautiful shape. The tires and wheels are in perfect shape as well.
Interior:
The interior is in amazing original condition. There are no tears and no disappointments. All of the interior lights and dash lights work as designed. The pass windows are a little slow but still operate.
Overall:
Overall this car is a 9 of 10 easy. The use of the word perfect in this post is as close to its actual meaning as possible. In my post I am trying to build a level of expectation that will be met and or exceeded by the quality of the vehicle. I have many documents that will go with the car including scoresheets from a Lincoln Continental Owners Club meet, an appraisal from 1991, Original window sticker, Service history from 1990 until today. You will not be disapointed is this vehicle. Please call with any questions 217-260-9718

2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show
Wed, Mar 27 2019It's official, the 2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show this April. To go along with the announcement is a teaser video that, well, doesn't reveal much of anything except the crossover's name prominently displayed on the front fender. But we know a fair bit about the crossover from spy shots and prior announcements. The Corsair is the successor to the MKC, Lincoln's smallest crossover, which is also based on the Ford Escape. We expect that it will continue to be based on the Escape, albeit the completely redesigned one that hasn't yet been revealed. That also means powertrains will probably be shared, but the Lincoln might get one or two model-specific powertrains like with the Lincoln Aviator. Reportedly, the new Corsair will feature turbocharged 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter four-cylinder engines along with a plug-in hybrid. Spy shots have revealed that the Corsair will have styling closely related to that of the larger Aviator. That means a floating roof, more broad-shouldered nose, and large amounts of glass. The inside is also inspired by the Aviator and Navigator and features piano-key shift buttons, a low, wide dash and a healthy amount of chrome. 2020 Lincoln Corsair spied View 16 Photos

2020 Lincoln Corsair Review & Buying Guide | Old-school, value-priced luxury
Wed, May 1 2019The 2020 Lincoln Corsair is a compelling alternative to the compact luxury crossover establishment. It’s distinctively stylish inside and out, very spacious, and it clearly focuses on comfort rather than performance. Not only that, it has a base price that's thousands of dollars cheaper than its German rivals. It has a couple of drawbacks. Its quest for comfort does sacrifice some of its handling capability, and its overseas rivals still have nicer cabin materials. But there are enough positives that youÂ’ll still want to give the Corsair a closer look. What's new for 2020? The Lincoln Corsair is a completely new model introduced this year. It replaces the Lincoln MKC, and like that crossover, the Corsair still shares its platform with the Ford Escape. 2020 Lincoln Corsair Beyond Blue interior View 9 Photos What's the Corsair's interior and in-car technology like? While the Corsair is based on the Ford Escape, you wouldnÂ’t be able to tell from the inside, and thatÂ’s a very good thing. The little Lincoln crossover has a unique interior, both in relation to the Escape and to the rest of its luxury segment. There's nothing remotely like it. The dashboard itself is low and wide, emphasized by the split-level design and the faux full-width air vent. The center stack has a cantilevered design that floats above the center console area and features chrome-plated switches and knobs. Base models get a stylish pinstriped aluminum trim panel on the dash paired with one of three upholstery color options including black, gray and beige. However, the Reserve steps things up considerably with differing wood and metal trim choices that correspond to the expanded leather color options that include a camel tan and dark turquoise (pictured above). All Corsairs get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system mounted high on the dash within easy sight and reach. It uses a reskinned version of the latest Ford SYNC interface. The layout is straightforward and easy to navigate, and the more muted color options on the Lincoln system are easier on the eyes than the stark white Ford version. ItÂ’s a little bit slow to load new menus, though, and this carries over to the optional 12.3-inch instrument cluster screen available on the Reserve trim. The Corsair comes standard with an analog instrument cluster with a 6.5-inch info screen. We appreciate that many stereo and climate controls have dedicated switches and knobs on the center stack, and they have a nice heft to their actions.
