south Florida Condo car. I have owned this for 12+ yrs and have lots of comfort and fun at the cruise ins. I have modified the drive train to a crate motor 351 Windsor, and a 4sp automatic overdrive. less than 20K on new drive train. never overheats and great gas mileage on regular fuel. 16 MPG around town. has all the cruising power needed. I have taken this on several out of state trips in comfort with the ICE COLD A/C. and smooth, quiet ride. has never let me down and always replaced any problem items. new motor, trans, drive shaft and U joints, shocks, brakes and disc, front suspension bushings, axle bearings, new steering box is included. the wheels are 15" wire baskets that are showing their age but look good for a driver. the car was re painted 20 yrs ago and only show a few small blems. shown in pictures. this is a nice solid car and has been very dependable to me. I am only selling it to move on to some thing new to me. If you were to buy this car you could fly into RSW airport and drive home in style. or you could have it shipped at your expense if desired. May take some trades up or down with cash to? let me know what you have. I like Fords or anything unusual! please come look to buy or check my feedback to see I do not play game. this description is my personal opinion and of friends. Lincoln Aviator warning and alert sounds are played by an orchestra
Mon, Nov 5 2018Lincoln used members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to create alert chimes for its new Aviator SUV. Luxury manufacturers are always looking for more ways to increase the level of ambiance, and Lincoln went so far as to contract some of the best musicians in the world to create a more comfortable atmosphere. In total, the musicians created six different alert chimes for 25 different alerts the Aviator could provide. The alert chimes fall into three different categories Lincoln uses for warnings: non-critical, soft-warning chimes and hard-warning chimes. They are all made using a blend of percussion instruments, violin and viola. Lincoln plans to expand the instrumental sounds across its entire lineup eventually. These chimes will represent warnings for things like an open fuel door, unbuckled seat belt, the lowering of the power liftgate and plenty more. It's not a bad day when leaving your headlights on or door open lead to a pleasant musical sound coming from your speakers. All the sounds seem appropriate for their particular functions, and do sound more pleasing than the normal alerts. Lincoln says the musicians initially came up with 125 different sound options before they narrowed it down to just six. While it might feel a bit gimmicky at face value, a calming sound playing versus an annoying beep might reduce in-car aggravation. The Aviator with these warning sounds will be revealed at the LA Auto Show at the end of the month as well. It was originally shown as a close-to-production-looking concept car at the NY Auto Show earlier this year. All the official production details will be coming in LA. We'll be there in-person to tell you if these new musical chimes are a win. Lincoln Aviator warning chimes View 5 Photos Related video:

Woman keying luxury car caught on tape
Thu, Nov 12 2015Toronto police are on the hunt for a disguised woman who was caught on camera Sunday keying a car. The woman sported a red bandana over her face and baseball cap as she ran up to the Lincoln MKS in a driveway, the Toronto Star reported. She then went to town with a sharp object, gleefully scratching the car's paint job. She runs off after nearly a minute of enthusiastic damage. Police believe the victim and the vandal know each other, since the Lincoln is the only car in the neighborhood she hit. This is also the third time this particular car has been damaged. They suspect this woman is responsible for the previous incidents. Toronto police told the Star that it will likely cost Lincoln owner thousands to have his car repaired. Security cameras are great for catching vandals in the act, though the videos are difficult for any car enthusiast to watch. Take for instance this video from London in April of a man scratching an Aston Martin while pushing a baby stroller. News Source: The Toronto Star Lincoln Videos vandalism scratch
