I haven't had this car long but it seems to be a good old Lincoln, the car drives nice and it shift well. The interior is nice for its age and the paint shines well but is not perfect, it has a new starter, fuel pump, front brakes, carburetor as been gone through and the tire look to be new. The chrome is good, and all the windows are too, all the lights work as they should, and the a/c compressor kicks in when you turn it on. The vinyl top could be replaced, but it still looks fine, now for the bad, the passenger window won't go down, the drivers power seat works when it wants, fuel gauge doesn't work but the light does, wipers, and it has light and its light, hail dent on hood and trunk, I had the car for a week before I saw them, you can't see them outside, but under shop lights you will. I have drove it about a week and it seems good, so if you have any question call me at 870 219 8837, I bought it to make a cool sled, but have now bought a 57 Bel Air to fix up, I can send you all the pictures you need, so just give me a cll, my name is Mike
The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the action at any time, thanks

2015 Lincoln Navigator ready to roll for $62,475*

Wed, 21 May 2014

Fancy picking up a refreshed Lincoln Navigator? Well, prepare to shell out at least $62,475. That's a whopping increase of $6,310 for the now-EcoBoost-equipped SUV.
That's just for the two-wheel-drive Select model, though. Want to drive all four wheels? Better have an extra $3,575 laying around. Snagging the top-of-the-line Reserve model, meanwhile, demands a premium of $7,500.
For those extra bills, you'll net Lincoln Drive Control, complete with continuously controlled dampers, power running boards, Ziricote wood interior trim, upgraded leather, 22-inch wheels, a "unique" interior headliner and, of course, a "Reserve" badge.

Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
