For sale, listing my 1969 Lincoln Mark III with 54,731 original miles. The car has always been garage kept since new. The car belonged to the original owner for 37 years until i bought it in 2006. This was always a local car in our town, i actually remember when "Mr Adkins" bought it brand new for his wife in '69. The car sat inside their brick two car garage it's whole life, last tagged in 1991 up until we got the car in '06. Upon getting the car we had it tuned up, new battery, went through the brakes, new brake booster and master cylinder, installed brand new dual exhaust, brand new Holly 600 carburetor, ( old one goes with the car )  new air shocks, four new white wall tires on the original rims, ( the rims on the car now don't go with it unless you want to purchase them separate ) The last picture shows the original wheel covers and tires that go with the car. We sent the fuel tank out to Moyer's tanks and had it redone, and installed a new sending unit, the car also has a few NOS parts installed such as turn signal stalk, tail light bezels, had front bumper corners re chromed too.
The car is very dependable, get in and go,The 460 runs great , i drive it to shows and cruise nights all the time. The car looks awesome, I had a beautiful fresh coat of black paint done on the cars already clean rust free body, i almost was not going to paint it but it had some scratches and a couple of door dings etc. and since i wanted to show it we had it painted.
The trunk lid letters go with the car along with a stencil of where they go if the buyer wants to put them back on , i told the painter to leave them off as i think it has a cleaner look without them. The only things i can think of that do not work are the passenger power window, dash lights, Air conditioning does not work, and the 8 track radio does not work.

Buyer is responsible for picking up or arranging shipping of the car.
The car is sold as is where is.
Your winning bid is not an invitation to just come look at the car, However you are welcome to inspect the car first.
A $100 deposit through Paypal is due within 2 days of auctions end.
Balance is due in cash only at the time of pickup, no checks.
I would like the car picked up within 10 days of auctions end, if you need more time we can discuss that.
I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
If you have zero feedback and just joined E-bay to conveniently bid on my car you need to move on, i will cancel your bids.
I do not have the time or patience to deal with over seas scams, i was not born yesterday.

Bid with confidence, I'm a 100% feedback seller.
thanks

Lincoln Aviator concept takes a shine to Shinola

Mon, Aug 2 2021

At the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Lincoln is displaying a special Aviator concept that was created in collaboration with the Detroit-based Shinola brand of watches and accessories. The SUV features unique exterior design elements, but the most eye-catching aspects are found in the cabin. The interior is awash in Shinola's whiskey-colored leather, which for once in an automobile actually looks like real cowhide. The rich, brown hue contrasts sharply with off-white cloth seat inserts and more off-white on the dash and door panels. Tying the two colors together is a neat center stripe on the seats that is another Shinola signature design element. The dash and center console also are adorned with a metal mesh trim, said to be inspired by Shinola watch bands. The exterior, meanwhile, is finished in pearl white, similar to Shinola's mother of pearl watch faces. The wheels and grille insert are matte copper. For now, the Aviator Shinola concept is just a design exercise. But a good portion of the Lincoln brand's recent comeback can be attributed to its emphasis on interior design, and specifically, an imaginative use of color and materials. So, we could see Lincoln making a collaboration like this official. After all, they've done it before. A Shinola Aviator is just the hipper, modern version of the same idea that sold the Continental Mark V back in the day, as the commercial below reminds us. This content is hosted by a third party. With gaps in product portfolio, Lincoln embraces experiences

Fri, Dec 1 2017

In one sense, Lincoln is on a roll. It rides out the year having unveiled three substantially refreshed SUVs — the new full-size Navigator, the MKC crossover and the Nautilus, the new name for its top-selling MKX that Lincoln revealed in Los Angeles. The company is on pace to sell 50,000 vehicles this year in China, a four-fold jump after just three years in that market, and its sales growth in the U.S. outpaces its competition in the luxury segment. And analysts applauded the brand for moving away from its confusing alphanumeric naming system as a way to differentiate itself. But Lincoln remains far behind its competitors, with a market share that lags the likes of Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and even Cadillac. Its product portfolio is more limited too, heavy on hot-selling SUVs, but with only two cars — far fewer than the German luxury brands — and no marquee sports cars. Instead, Lincoln made it clear in Los Angeles that it's leaning heavily on creating distinctive experiences for its customers — its strategy focuses on being "warm, human and effortless" — as a way to stand out from the field. One way it's trying to do that is through its Black Label program, which offers premium interior trim options like unique leather stitching patterns, Alcantara headliners and laser-etched aluminum accents, and combines all that with a suite of services. Black Label members get an enhanced premium maintenance plan that includes wear and tear, anytime car washes and annual detailing, a dedicated concierge and the ability to be custom-fitted for a vehicle at their home. It also comes with a Culinary Collection, a curated list of more than 50 participating restaurants across the country that offer exclusive reservation assistance, visits from the noted chefs and other perks. Lincoln is introducing a new "Gala" Black Label theme on its new Nautilus, which it says is inspired by a night at a fashion gala. It's an interior decked out in what it calls Carmine Red, reflecting a popular color in fashion, with perforated seat stitching that form interlocking Ls. It joins the Thoroughbred and Chalet Black Label themes for the new Nautilus, which goes on sale next spring. Other Black Label themes including the Navigator's Yacht Club theme, with a Chroma Blue exterior paint color, upgraded leather seats and whitewashed teak wood in the center console, and Center Stage, with jet black Venetian leather with red accents, available on the MKC.
