Thank you for looking at this super nice V8 powered 2004 Lincoln LS.  The actual miles on this LS are 22,300.  This Lincoln was purchased by my friends mother, Mary, in January of 2005 at Green's Lincoln Mercury in Lexington, Kentucky as a second owner when the car had 3,751 miles.  I have been asked to sell this car for her.

This Lincoln LS is loaded with options.  It was manufactured with the Sport Package, Heated and Cooled front seats, Power moonroof, HID Headlights, 17" Chrome wheels, Rear Spoiler, Walnut trim and 3 stage Vivid Red paint.  The Carraige roof and chrome rocker accents were added by dealer as post delivery options.

This Lincoln LS is in excellent mechanical condition.  There are no warning lights (ie. check engine, SRS, ABS, etc).  The tires are matching Michelin Pilot MXM4 tires. The front tires show 8/32" tread and the rear tires show 7/32" tread remaining.

The interior of this Lincoln is immaculate.  It has never been smoked in and shows no damage and little wear.

This Lincoln LS drives just like you would expect a 22k mile car to drive.  This Lincoln starts, runs, shifts, brakes and handles beautifully.

This Lincoln has been kept in a basement level residental high rise parking garage from the time of Mary's purchase to now.  The 3 stage red paint really pops out especially in the sun.  It looks deep and is very shiny. The History report shows no accidents and this LS has never had any traffic accidents or insurance claims...Mary has bumped the support posts in the garage a couple of times. The damage was repaired each time by the body shop at the dealership. No body panels have ever been replaced and are original.  There is still a small dent and scratch at the bottom of the passenger rear door of which I have included a picture.

There is no lein/loan on this Lincoln and I guarantee clean and clear title at time of purchase.

I am a independent licensed Kentucky Dealer.  I have no sales or office staff and I keep my overhead low so that I can offer you a better price.  When you call, you will talk to me and only me.

My dealership is a retired gas station and is not very photo freindly so I take the pictures at my home.

I charge no extra fees.  What you bid or offer is what you pay.  Vehicle is to be paid in full within 7 days of final bid or offer.  I will keep/store vehicle for a longer period of time as agreed and/or needed.

I will provide a Kentucky temporary tag to out of state buyers good for 30 days.

I am a member of Central Dispatch.  I can ship this vehicle Coast to Coast.  Please contact me for a quote. My cost is your cost.

Please feel free to call me with any questions.

Why the 2015 Lincoln MKC is 'holding some powder'

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Earlier this month in our first drive of the 2015 MKC, we told you that Lincoln finally had a new vehicle in its arsenal worth crowing about. So with the compact premium crossover now finding its way into dealers, why aren't you seeing its likeness plastered on billboards and barraging you on television? It's because Lincoln is "holding some powder."
Those are the words of Lincoln's global director, Matt VanDyke, who tells Autoblog that the company is holstering some of its marketing guns because it's keen to avoid repeating the ill-timed efforts that blighted its last rollout, the MKZ. That vehicle's launch early last year was beset by various delays related to manufacturing and quality. The cadence issue was so dire that by the time the model reached showrooms in volume, Lincoln had already blown most of its budget on things like Super Bowl ads that ran weeks or even months before customers could check one out in person. It was a particularly trying series of events for parent Ford because the MKZ and its oversized marketing spend were charged with relaunching the Lincoln brand to the public.
Keen to avoid repeating the same timing issue and mindful of consumers' habits at this time of year, Lincoln is taking a different strategy with the MKC. According to VanDyke, "What we don't want to do is try and fight the summertime - people using television being down, and other mass media when school's out. New television shows aren't on." Of course, that doesn't mean Lincoln is sitting idle. VanDyke says, "By no means are we quiet during the next 90 days. This year, we're going to really spend the next 60 to 90 days using digital and social media, in-theater advertising and the like, and once we have full availability at dealerships, we'll really ramp up the advertising later on in the summer." Part of that early media effort includes immersive digital marketing like Lincoln's clever Dream Rides web experience.

Ford cuts production at 5 plants, has big backload of cars including Mustang

Wed, Sep 20 2017

DETROIT — Ford said on Tuesday it plans to idle five North American vehicle assembly plants for a total of 10 weeks to reduce inventories of slow-selling models. The plants affected include three assembly plants in the United States and two in Mexico, the company said in a statement. The vehicle models include the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ midsize sedans, the Ford Focus compact car, the Lincoln Continental and Ford Mustang, Ford Fiesta and the Ford Transit van. Ford said the Cuautitlan assembly plant that builds the Fiesta would be idled for three weeks. The Hermosillo, Mexico plant that builds the Fusion and MKZ and the Flat Rock, Michigan, factory that assembles Continentals and Mustangs will be idled for two weeks each. The Michigan Assembly plant that builds the Focus will be idled for one week, and the Kansas City assembly line that builds Transit vans will be down for two weeks. Ford did not give dates for the temporary shutdowns. The factories involved employ more than 15,000 people, according to Ford's website. The company did not say how many of those workers would face temporary layoffs. As of Sept. 1, Ford had 111 days' worth of unsold Mustangs, 87 days' supply of Fusions, and a 103 days' supply of Transit vans, according to Automotive News. Dealers had enough unsold Lincoln Continentals to last 162 days. Automakers aim for 65 to 70 days of inventory of most models. Ford and rival General Motors have wrestled most of this year to rein in high inventories of passenger cars as consumers have shifted to buying pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles. Production cuts slice into revenue, but also could help the automakers avoid deeper price cuts on vehicles they can sell. Did Neil Young just spill the beans on a 2016 Lincoln Continental? [w/video]

Thu, Dec 18 2014

Neil Young may be better known as a singer-songwriter and rock n' roll icon than he is for his involvement with cars, but the Canadian-born musician is not without his automotive credentials. His latest book, after all, is titled "Special Deluxe: A Memoir of Life & Cars," and one of his most famous songs, "Long May You Run," was written about his old station wagon. But does that mean he's got an inside line on new cars coming out? In an appearance on CNBC's Mad Money with Matt Cramer this week, the Y in CSNY was plugging Pono, a portable music player and service he developed. During the segment, which you can watch in the video clip below, Young mentioned that his company was working on a new in-car audio integration with Harman, which as we know just signed a deal with Lincoln. Here's where it gets interesting: The Godfather of Grunge mentioned that Pono and Harman were preparing to put the system in the 2016 Lincoln Continental. The thing is, Lincoln hasn't made a Continental for a dozen years now. Does Neil know something we don't, or did he simply misspeak? He is, after all, working on an electric-converted '59 Continental he calls the LincVolt, so it wouldn't be hard to imagine he got mixed up. But maybe, just maybe, it was the first bit of leaked info that Ford's luxury division is planning on shifting away from its MK-based naming scheme and reviving at least one iconic nameplate.
