This car has been in my family since 2006 and has been a great car. It is surprising but the gas mileage is better than a lot of cars with less power and smaller engines. The AC is still cold and it still runs and drives well. I am selling it due to high miles. The engine has good power and burns little oil and no smoke. I would estimate it may use about a quart of oil every 5000 miles. I just changed the oil and filter. The engine does lope at idle occasionally and does sputter at times while driving. Not sure the cause but still drives around good. The power steering fluid has started to leak but appears to be near the base of the fluid holder on the passenger side and may be simple fix. Three of the tires have about 30% tread and one has 50% left. Also the two front windows don't work anymore as the cable system inside malfunctioned. The horn and cruise control no longer work and the seat belt reminder beeps longer than it should. The windows are tinted and the paint is in good shape as is the body. The interior could use a steam clean on the carpet and the leather is intact with one small crack on the middle console arm rest. This car is a running driving car that is still registered. The reserve is low so bid with confidence. This is a good car that won't break you on gas and is still has some luxury features. Not a smokers car either. Call Matt for questions. No trades.

Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show
Wed, Mar 27 2019It's official, the 2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show this April. To go along with the announcement is a teaser video that, well, doesn't reveal much of anything except the crossover's name prominently displayed on the front fender. But we know a fair bit about the crossover from spy shots and prior announcements. The Corsair is the successor to the MKC, Lincoln's smallest crossover, which is also based on the Ford Escape. We expect that it will continue to be based on the Escape, albeit the completely redesigned one that hasn't yet been revealed. That also means powertrains will probably be shared, but the Lincoln might get one or two model-specific powertrains like with the Lincoln Aviator. Reportedly, the new Corsair will feature turbocharged 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter four-cylinder engines along with a plug-in hybrid. Spy shots have revealed that the Corsair will have styling closely related to that of the larger Aviator. That means a floating roof, more broad-shouldered nose, and large amounts of glass. The inside is also inspired by the Aviator and Navigator and features piano-key shift buttons, a low, wide dash and a healthy amount of chrome. 2020 Lincoln Corsair spied View 16 Photos
