2000 Lincoln Ls Base Sedan 4-door 3.9l Sold As Is on 2040-cars
Springfield, Massachusetts, United States
2000 Lincoln LS. loaded-sunroof, leather interior, cruise, AC, automatic transmission, 4 way heated seats, dual exhaust, V8 3.9 liter. The Lincolns are performance vehicles that use a Jaguar chassis for great handling. I've owned this car for 12 years. New continental tires, new alternator, new water pump, hoses, clock spring, and battery I bought a new Edge so I no longer have use for my old friend. The car has a few issues and needs a few things. The engine runs rough and testing shows it needs two o2 sensors(the reading shows bank one lean). I replaced the main water pump and 3 of the main coolant hoses but the auxiliary water pump needs to be replaced. The AC runs cold but there's a slight electrical draw that need to be traced otherwise the battery goes dead after a week or so without driving the car. I'm selling this AS IS It will need the repairs to pass inspection. Remember car is 14 years old. It wouldn't take much to get the this car This car got 17/25 prior to me parking.

2017 Acura NSX #001 is finally here | Autoblog Minute
Sat, May 28 2016The first 2017 Acura NZX rolls off the line in Ohio and Lincoln may be ditching some initials for a classic nameplate. Senior Editor Greg Migliore reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] The first 2017 Acura NSX rolled off the assembly line this week in Marysville, Ohio. Marking the return of the iconic supercar. VIN #001 went to Nascar Owner Rick Handpick. He paid $1.2M at auction for the first NSX. The proceeds went to charity. The 2017 NSX uses a twin turbo V6 teamed with three electric motors to make a total of 573-hp and 476-lb.ft of torque. The supercar also runs a nine speed dual clutch transmission and AWD. The starting price is $157,800 but you can option this thing out to well over $200k. Ford Motor Company applied this month to get the rights to the trademark for the word Zephyr. Lincoln is using some real names again aside from these MKC and MKX things that don't mean a lot to the general public. The Navigator is going strong and a new one comes on next year. Plus it brought back the Continental which was a well revived move. So Zephyr should ring a bell it was used in the 1930s and 40s, it was also used a little less memorably in 2006 on a Lincoln model that was essentially a rebadged Ford Fusion. Here's the take away: we think the MKZ might be rebadge as the Lincoln Zephyr. For Autoblog I'm Greg Migliore. Autoblog Minute is a short-form video news series reporting on all things automotive. Lincoln scales back free maintenance
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Complimentary scheduled maintenance programs have been great tools for luxury automakers to draw in new customers, but some are starting to scale their programs back considerably. According to Automotive News, Lincoln is joining Jaguar and Volvo on the list of automakers reducing the length of time it will be providing free maintenance to its customers.
Lincoln's four-year/50,000-mile maintenance program first kicked off as an incentive in 2010 and became permanent later that year, but starting with the 2014 model year, this will be cut to just two years and 24,000 miles. This could make short-term leases even more appealing for some consumers, but according to Automotive News, some Lincoln dealers are unhappy with the scaling back. The move admittedly comes at an odd time for Lincoln, with parent Ford seemingly working hard to increase consideration among luxury buyers as it looks to reverse the marque's long decline.
