1982 Lincoln Mark VI, you are viewing probably one of the nicest mark VI's in the market, This car was purchased new from Empire Lincoln Mercury on 12-9-81 by Ms. Edith Maynard. As you can view from the pictures this car was her pride and joy, she drove it on her Sunday outings and her occasional Bridge Club, in and near where she lived, Country Club Estates,   it only accumulated 39,130 miles. It was special ordered in two tone dark Mulberry metallic, and medium Fawn Metallic with fawn cloth interior and wire wheels, which is absolutely striking. Power moon roof, and other equipment. I do have the paperwork and protect o plate.
Condition: The car is a non smoker, has original floor mats, Tires are newer, Air Conditioning and all electronics are in working order, Air blows Cold, as it should be. The car does have one little ping in the middle of the hood which could be popped with paint less repair and touch, I personally did not want to do it, but I will if someone wants it done, not that big of deal. The car is in my collection in a dry storage warehouse, I also will help arrange shipping at buyers expense. The car is also open for inspection upon request. My buy it now is $13,500 which I understand is not cheap. But if you had seen it in person, my price would be justified. You are buying a quality car with all documentation which will only get better in Value over time. My name is Cole, if you would like to talk instead of Email, my number is 605-366-7259

Sorry if there is any confusion but this car is not a Signature, my boy was helping me put this add on and must have put that in by mistake, to Clarify, this is not a Signature

Lincoln trumpets $129M investment, 300 new jobs in Louisville for MKC

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Remember when we used to talk about how close Lincoln was to being axed and how it seemed any day now the Grim Reaper would use it as a car service back to the grave? Last time we did it was, oh, not even a month ago. What a difference 27 days makes: Ford and Lincoln are trumpeting a $129M investment in the Louisville Assembly Plant that builds the MKC.
In July the MKC was the third-best-selling Lincoln of the brand's six offerings, beat by the MKZ and - by a much smaller margin - the MKX. It has sold 2,895 units in the two months it's been on sale, which is more than half the year-to-date sales of the MKS, MKT and Navigator. It's already important, is what we're trying to say, and this is before the Chinese market gets a crack at it later this year.
The money headed to Kentucky will be joined by 300 new workers, another marker in Ford's march to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the US by next year. You can read more about it in the press release below.

Ford recalling 205k Edge and Lincoln MKX units for possible corrosion

Thu, 30 Oct 2014

After the horrible weather last winter, it's hard to look forward for the season to return this year. For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.
