1977 Lincoln/Mercury Grand Marquis Brougham Edition.
This was a one owner, 22k original mileage survivor car!!! This is not a 122k mileage makeover car. It is a legitimate 22k original mileage car. Simply put, you have to see it to believe it. Stored indoors since new. Never smoked in. The pictures do not do the car justice. Read on......
This Lincoln sold new at Ben Mabus Lincoln/Mercury here in Washington State. It still has the original dealer license plate frames on them. I have the original keys. It has been in Washington State its entire life and was primarily a third car that was rarely driven. The saddle interior is like brand new inside. And dare I say it, it even smells new! It is flawless! From the headliner down to the cut-pile carpet, from the dash to the rear package tray, it shows like new. The ashtrays all have their original silver tint to them. They've never had a cigarette in them. This thing is a total time capsule!
Looking under the hood you will notice all of the factory, final assembly inspection marks and date codes on the Big Block 460 are intact as new. Even little paper tags are still hanging where they were hung 36 years ago. The engine runs flawlessly. I have recently put over one thousand miles on the car driving it to Eastern Washington, (over the pass) in 90 degree weather with no problems. The car runs and drives effortlessly. It is worthy to drive anywhere across the U.S. as you see it.
The car is loaded with the following factory options;
*BB 460 engine
*C-6 Automatic
*A/C (works)
*Tilt Wheel
*Cruise control (works)
*6 way power seat
*Power windows
*Fender skirts
*Bumper guards
*Hide-a-way headlights
*Landau vinyl top
*Rear window defogger
*Courtesy lamps (pull on door handle at night and the keyhole and interior lights illuminate. Way ahead of its time)
*Rear speaker fader control.
*Deluxe seat belts.
*Intermittent wipers (also, way before their time)
*Cornering lamps (again, ahead of their time)
*R/H mirror
If you've been looking for an absolutely mint, original cruiser, your ship has come, pun intended. This car is huge! And subsequently an absolute hoot to drive. Passing a Pruis is an epic moment, every time I drive it. It can run with any Cadillac of its day and quite frankly is much more scarce than a 77 Caddy. With the exception of a small re-spray on the driver's side quarter, this car bears all of its original paint and basically looks new. It looks awesome as any factory paint job ever did. It has a few expected minor door dings and scratches, but they are hardly worth noting.
All of the stainless/aluminum trim is gorgeous! Check out those glamour shots! They are bright and resilient, not milky, faded or dented. Everyone's first impression of this car, is that it has been restored. The chrome on the bumpers and trim is beautiful. Simply put, this is a 36 year old car that is basically brand new! The huge trunk contains the original polyglass spare tire that has never been removed. Speaking of tires, they are newer modern radials. Check out the glamour shot of those hubcaps! They are gorgeous. Zero curb rash!
Feel free to have the car inspected and/or appraised. You wont be disappointed. Fly into SeaTac Airport and drive it across the country. Everything works on this car!
No trades please. If you have any further questions or need any further pics, please let me know and I'll get them to you ASAP.
$500.00 non refundable Pay Pal deposit due within 48 hours.
Thank you and good luck.

2016 Lincoln MKX First Drive [w/video]
Thu, Sep 10 2015The Lincoln Motor Company was one of America's great luxury symbols of the 20th Century. It grew from an aircraft engine maker during the First World War to become the car of presidents. The jaw-dropping Continental concept revealed earlier this year is a clear indication that Lincoln plans to build on its history and recapture some of that luxury magic. While the image of a powerful Continental thundering over a tony Westchester road is certainly romantic, it does little to sell cars today. Enter the 2016 Lincoln MKX. Flagships like the Continental are great, but Americans buy way more crossovers, and Lincoln's redesign of the MKX focuses on the needs of modern luxury customers. That means more and better safety features, a quiet interior with attractive materials, and classy exterior design. The potent 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 pushes out 335 horsepower, outperforming V6 offerings from Lexus and Acura. There's also a new engine – Ford's potent 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 pushing out 335 horsepower – that outguns V6 offerings from Lexus and Acura. All told, it's a tasteful redesign with some spotlight features that might turn a few more customers Lincoln's way. The updates are intriguing, yet many of them (aside from the V6's 380 pound-feet of torque) are rather subtle. So we grab the key fob to an attractive all-wheel-drive model decked out with the Reserve package and set out for a long weekend to absorb the new MKX. Several days of running errands around town, commuting, and a three-and-half-hour drive from metro Detroit to the northern tip of Michigan lay ahead of us. We're going to be spending a lot of time in the MKX, so naturally, we take stock of the interior. Our tester (we photographed a different one) is done up in a cappuccino leather theme, which means brown leather for the steering wheel, armrests, and the tops of the door panels. Another chocolately strip bisects the dashboard. The rest of the cabin – the headliner, the seats, the sides of the doors, etc. – is a creamy white. We sink into the seats, which are cushy yet supportive. The headrest is like a pillow, and the plush floormats feel made for bare feet. The touchscreen works well, and it's complemented by redundant buttons and switches, which we like. The MKX is generally user friendly. The touchscreen works well, with little poking or jabbing. It's complemented by redundant buttons and switches, which we like.
Why Lincoln says it's loving Ellen and Conan MKC ad spoofs [w/videos]
Mon, 13 Oct 2014You would think that commercial being ridiculed across the Internet would be an advertising executive's worst nightmare, but that's not necessarily the case. At least not when it comes to Lincoln and its latest campaign to promote the new MKC.
The campaign features Matthew McConaughey channeling his characters from True Detective and The Lincoln Lawyer, and was quickly spoofed by both Conan O'Brien and Ellen DeGeneres. But instead of shaking their heads in dismay at the comedy talk-show hosts' take on their ad, Lincoln and its advertising firm Hudson Rouge welcome the free publicity.
"We're flattered. Just to get out into the public mind with parodies says you've achieved a certain amount of notoriety," Hudson Rouge CCO Jon Pearce told Automotive News. "It's hard to put a dollar amount on earned media. We couldn't ask for better."
2015 Lincoln Navigator puts on a brave face, offers EcoBoost V6 only

Lincoln has finally given its SUV a facelift after seven long years.
Seven years is a long time. For the auto industry, though, seven years is an absolute eternity. Most vehicles receive clean-sheet redesigns within the span of seven years, usually getting a facelift of some sort after year three or four. Not Lincoln.
